  • I heard people talk about a quick release. Could u explain that

  • I love the thin line projects. I've made several soloman bar blue lines for my fellow officers. The only real problem is that they do not deploy easily. Is there a way to incorporate a thin line style into something more like the Ripcord Sinnet? I love the ease of deployment that bar offers. It would be wonderful to use that stitch and still be able to honor those who serve in emergancy services.

  • could you put multiple "thin lines" inside the solomon bar base?

  • how much cord would i need if i were to make a bracelet?

  • 1:15 penis?

  • I was wondering if you can make a video making a survival bracelet with a side release buckle . thanks i also subscribed

  • also...will this work with 550??? I notice u used 450

  • Do you gut the cords or leave the middle strands inside???

  • Comment removed

  • What do you single the ends with, a lighter tends to blacken the cord. Hot metal?

  • I like to use white but I don't like the black left behind when I singe the end. Any suggestions please?

  • @Funfold U are ridiculus, grow up and get a life.

  • can we get a how to at how to make this into a bracelet or the one that looks like a cobra weave with the single color in the middle please help what is this called

  • This diamond knot comes out looking as if it's made from only 2 strands, correct? When terminating a fob with 4 strands, I've made a diamond knot by treating 2 strands as one.

  • Would you post a video of you making one of these in a bracelet with a side release buckle....I am a firefighter and I've been making my own version of the thin red line for the guys of my firehouse but I'd love to see this particular braid done so I can learn it. Thank you!

  • if you dont mind me asking are all of these knots yours or did you learn them from someone ?

  • @clownslider - I don't mind. Most of the knots I show on my channel are my designs, created like an artist might create a new painting. Only difference...I show how my "paintings" are made. This particular tie, a request from a viewer, is my version of an idea that's been floating around the web for some time now. Creating a "Thin Blue Line" fob from the similarly tied bracelets people sell.

  • @TyingItAllTogether well there is only two words i can think of right now to describe this channel ,BAD ASS !!

  • Dude you are freakin awesome and Thank You so much for the videos. Please keep up the Good Work. Once again Thank You!!!

  • Thnk you for existing!

  • Beautiful. This is my next attempt

  • THANK YOU!!! I finally found a video where I can learn this unique design! I have one question though, I need to make this as a big bracelet for a typical man sized wrist, but i dont understand how to start it...So I start it just like 1:11? How much string should I really use 7 ft?

  • hey JD awesome vid! quick question: where do u get your paracord? thanks!

  • thanks a million for sharing . . ..

  • I'm curious as to how you would make a version of this with a 2 color base. I have my own ideas, I'm just wondering how you would handle it. My general idea was to make the core one color, then add a second color and treat the piece like a standard 2 color Solomon bar when working back the other way on the 2nd layer. I saw a red, white and blue variation of this, with a red and blue base and a white "thin line" that I liked, which prompted the question. BTW, love your videos JD. :)

  • your next project should be making a paracord belt, that would be useful

  • Just great. Love your works.

  • It es : lovely !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice. I plan to make this for a friend of mine. BTW, what is the music in the background? Very peaceful.

  • @magicbuskey - It's from the ambient music iPad game Osmos.

  • @TyingItAllTogether Please tell me how you would make a bracelet out of this. i cannot find any other instruction video with the thin blue line that does not use a buckle. Please help.

  • Thanks for these ideas. My law enforcement agency's uniforms are green and several have asked for "thin green line" bracelets. I have already made a couple. FYI, this is Police Week.

  • Going to school right now to be a firefighter, I know I personally would love to get one of these from someone.

  • my uncle has a blue line and my brother has a white and blue most likely soon to be a FF.

  • neat!

  • I really appreciate this sir. I love your videos.

  • wat if someone was in the military? how would that look like?

  • @aquintero760 Gray& blue for Air Force, OD and Red for Marine Corps, blue & white for navy, and OD and tan for Army.

  • @Damonnanashi Of course this might change outside the USA

  • @Damonnanashi thanks brother

  • Thanks for another great knot! I will make a lot of these!

  • Nice, was wondering how that was done. Thanks.

  • Thanks for fulfilling my request. Great video.

  • great music background to your videos, it gives them the "edge".

  • lol i had to find out myself because nobody showed how

  • Wonderful, JD. Beautiful fob, and great (as always) instructional video. Thank you.

  • u can also do that to bracelets. thanks

  • @paintballhead03 From the video's description... "Inspired by the popular "thin blue line" paracord bracelets"

  • I don't know how you consistently create! I went back to your your first video and watched grow from tying a neat knot to fusion knots and all I can say is wow. I don't normally stay interested in any one thing beyond work related interest but I gotta say, you and several others have given me a spark to run with in a relaxing, yet challenging past-time. Great work as always! How's the movie coming along?

  • Thanks for this JD! I was hoping you had time to do this one this week. I made a "Military" version with an Olive Drab primary and Camo Secondary. But it was in cord that is larger than paracord and it just got to be too bulky. Made a second one with some 2mm cord and it is rather sexy.. although not in the emergency colours. When I can get some of those colours I will make some gifts as you suggest.

  • Man I'm glad I subscribed to you, your great!!!!!

  • Brother you are really AWESOME!!!-Sincerely Whispering Cloud.

  • damn... i ran out of paracord

  • I have giant calluses due to these......Thank you to any Public servicemen and servicewomen who watch this. I can't thank you enough. My father is a Police officer so i do know the kind of sacrifices you make everyday on our behalf.

  • Nice. I didn't think of the diamond knot. I have been making something very similiar for a while now but would singe two ends and then tie a lanyard knot. Thanks. Great idea.

  • thanks JD
