  • waterproof?

  • @LJNERF Yes I have a Mtroniks ESC and Traxxas Receiver box

  • WOW.

Excellent truck control, and those Moabs look like they stick pretty well to that wet granite!

  • @willums70 Yeah It's smooth granite with rough spots

A real challenge to drive on ...

    c",)

  • nice videos man,

do you know what other bodies will fit on a wheely king, other than the stock one?

  • Most body's will fit depending on the wheel base

    Axial

    Proline

    HPI

    Losi

    Jconsept

    RJproducts

are just a few of them

    c",)

  • ok thanks! When you bought your wheely king did it come complete with everything you needed, or did you have to buy extra things like radio controller, battery, and charger? im thinking about buying oneThanks in advance

  • Mine was Ready to Run with battery and charger Great truck but on the down side This is my personal opinion ..others may say different battery is only 1500mah charger is slow radio is poor quality and short range ESC fried after 2 weeks So I changed to a waterproof ESC Traxxas TQ radio and I use 4000mah batteries in this video c",)
  • ok thanks, how much did it cost to do all that?

  • I can get the total cost if you want

but I already had all the gear

    c",)

  • They also have a WK without radio or ESC

    c",)

  • @SnoopMaxx yeh i agree i have been through a few of hpi's esc's and finally got smart and changed to traxxas waterproof everything

  • @jesseb251 That makes a big difference

    c",)

  • you got diff lockers in that

  • Yes

    c",)

  • wat are u crawling on at first???

  • A black granite sculpture

    It's very slippery

    c",)

  • Does anyone know where to ge metal front arm rods, and mine are starting to bend.

  • From HPI, Axial Tamiya

From all hobby shops in your local area

    c",)

  • hey can 2.2 moabs be used on a jato 3.3?

  • The Jato uses 2.8" wheels and the Moab tire is 2.2"

if you get a set of ´Pede wheels it may work but not on the stock Jato wheels

    c",)

  • Haha great traction :D cool vid man :)

    5/5 stars

  • Thant´s man

    check my other videos

    c",)

  • where'd you get the tires? i want to get them instead of the stock tamiya tires

  • I got My Proline Moab tires from ModelsportUK

You can also get them at Tower Hobbies

Many Local hobby shops have them in stock

  • are the stock tires ok?

  • They are a little harder than the Moab´s

    But they work fine too

  • what is that ur driveing on

  • It´s a sculpture in black granite in front of our local sports complex

    c",)

  • o cool

  • Cool vid!

  • Thank´s Mempey

  • Truck looks sick with those boots on! Definetly got to get that set-up! 5 stars for ya!

  • Thank´s Teknakill

    c",)

  • i thought u couldnt use the wheelie king in wateror mud

  • I had a 100% waterproof Mtroniks ESC in my WK when I made this film.

The stock ESC fried after only 2 weeks and it newer came in contact with water.

    c",)

  • No not the ones in the video but I have Losi CVD and wheelhub´s up front and wider lockout on the rear axle now

There will be a new video showing my latest mods

    c",)

  • no way ar thay extended axles..

  • The chassis is stock only the WB is longer

I have sins made wider axles and mounted a new Midgard ProRock chassis with ´Pede VXL tranny with BL power

  • is it an extended chassis?

  • Yes..If you look at my "Wild Wheely King with BTA" You can see the fliped chassis I have a 66/12 32P Traxxas Gearing ... And in the vid i use the stock motor (soon to be replaced with brushless

    c",)

  • Was the battery mounted in the front of that chassis?

Alsom what gear ratiu and motor were you running?

I have a waterproof WK aswell with mtroniks RVMax esc, 4600mah 7 cell, 600 size 19t motor and emaxx waterproof servo. It's ace doing mud bogs and looks real with the open diffs

  • If you want to you can plastic dip the reciver (I have never don it my self) or use silicone glue around the ziptie

  • this vid really helps because i was wonting to get the wk and make it water proof but a frist i didnt know how to make it water proof because would the wires lwt some water in the bag or how wold you do that??

  • Yes the diff´s are locked

  • Looked diffs?

  • The batt and motor are fine no extra waterproofing

Just let the batt and motor dry, and lube the berings in the motor

  • whats the batt like in water?

  • I have my reciver in a plasticbag with a zip tie the motor is not affected by the water (just let it dry and lube the berings)

  • lol

  • any tips on the battery it only lasts 20 mins any upgrades? thx def90char

  • I have a set of 4000mah batt´s. they give me about one houre of run time each. The stock yellow 1500mah batt, is too week for my liking. but ok for when my kids drive it

  • a higher turn motor really helps aswell as a higher MaH

  • just buy a better 1? i got 4600 lastes ages

  • ar they normal rims

  • Yes that´s the stock rims,

I only remowed the inner lib to narrow them

  • ar they normal rims

  • I diden´t do anything to the motor U can dunk the motor in water to break them in.

I have don this in the past

  • how did u waterproof the motor

  • I use a 100% waterproof Mtroniks super E-truck ESC an I put the reciver in a plastic bag with a zip tie

There are pics in my SnoopMaxx photobucket account

  • can u put the esc motor and servo in a plastic bag and a zip tie

  • how do you do it waterproof?

  • they r not waterproof i had 1 and it got rewened

  • good grip

  • yes wery good grip

  • Hey Andres They work wery well for me

  • in this vid I diden´t glue the tires to te wheel

I cut 1/4" of the with of the foam and cut the inner bed of the wheel

  • how the moabs work to you?

  • It´s wery fun right out of the box ;)

And if U never drive it in water your ok

But waterproof any way just to be safe

  • what things did you do to waterproof it

  • does it have to be water proffed or is it good when its pulled out of box?

  • Thanks

  • nice vid
