Hey I am woundering if my case will have a slot for HDMI or if the mobo supports a slot for me. its a GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard my case is the COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 i will be using the EVGA 012-P3-1570-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB graphics card. would i be able to use my HDMI to mini HDMI from my case to my HDTV and it work? Sorry if i sound stupid, I'm not that bright.

@sickofposerkids both the Motherboard and Video card have HDMI out, to use the HDMI built into the motherboard you would have to run Lucid Virtu which allows you to use the integrated graphics on the desktop and use the Graphics Card in games etc. You could connect your computer to your TV via HDMI either ways

@struggle375 well i always favor the Nvidia cards because they have PhysX, CUDA, 3D Vision. But as performance goes they're pretty much even, check hwbot.org

@struggle375 the GTX 570's with 1 fan are Nvidia reference designs, Gigabyte put 3 fans on because its an overclocked edition

@struggle375 you could always get the normal version and overclock it yourself and save $60, just make sure you have good case ventilation

I need help choosing a video card, i bought an EVGA GTX 570 HD SC and the damn thing was broken out of the box in the sense that the card work okay but when i installed the driver when i entered windows i got a black screen, i tested the card on my brother's pc and it gave him a blue screen.Luckly i return the card and got my money back, so now im thinking of getting this card.Does anyone recommend this card?

@loligsein not too much, the MSI card only has two fans and the Gigabyte card has a slightly higher core clock.

Hey James, I' have this exact same card and it's great...sometimes. Have you been having any boot problems with this card? I just sent mine in for an RMA and am anxiously waiting for its return. :( I know it's not my other components cause I have used my brothers second 580 for the past week and it's been great. ANYWAYS...just reading around on newegg and stuff and noticing alot of other peeps having boot issues...Thanks for the vid by the way.

@stavit2 going off scores on hwbot.org a single GTX 570 would out perform 2 AMD Radeon 6870's, not to mention the fact with Nvidia you have CUDA and PhysX

Is there any way you could measure the length of that card for me? I just ordered one, and I think it may not fit when I get it. If you could measure its length, not including the tab at the top that you put the screw in to hold it, that would be great.

@witkowskipe the Expansion Slot bracket on the video card sits flush with the Expansion slots on the case, the size of the expansion slot bracket on the video card wont make a difference to how the card sits in the case

Is the shroud covering your fans aluminum or plastic? Because the one on my 570 Super Overclock is aluminum, I'm wondering if it's the same on the lower clocked Gigabyte cards.
