i think they look awesome but the way the body is a little feminine and skinny a bit needs a bit of bulk to the torso and arm and thats all but all in all they look beast

@doom2sgt Yep, a real Halo Fan would've called the Square guys over and ask'd them to explain why the figures look like typical androgynous japanese school boys in evangelion armor (The power packs on everyone except Jorge are ridiculously small giving no bulk to the back whatsoever like a true spartan). Of course, you can't expect much from someone that actually has the carefree ability to visit SDCC. Ignorance is bliss!

i like mcfarlane figures better.. these look skinny and wimpy. just look at emiles arm in comparison to his shoulder piece. and dont say its huge because there like 5 other shoulder pieces bigger than it. these things are shitty and a waste of money.

@Pingbo97 stick with mcfarlene. don't get me wrong these figures are awesome but are way over priced. you can get mcfarlene toys for cheaper and good quality

@TheNinjaman104 I was thinking the same thing, but I like to pose and display things, so I probably will buy the larger and more detailed Square Enix. The McFarlane has good detail but a 5 inch figure on a countertop doesn't look the best in my opinion. It might be a Christmas present using some money I've saved up anyways. Thanks for the advice!

@Pingbo97 ugh, it depends if you want display figures to look EXTRA just plain BADASS then get the Square Enix ones. But if you want an army or a playset just get the McFlarlane. BUT when you buy the mcflarlane ones make sure you inspect the box contenets cause mispaints and stuff like that are bound to happen and they are not quality goods, quanitity :P thats why i didnt buy the mcflarlane ones yet...holding off till these bad boys come out

The McFarlane figures are more beefy, but the down side is Emile can't hold the shot gun properly with both hands, and is the average Japanese guys are pencil necks, so they think thin is good looking. And let me guess, the Jorge figure is the same body with a different head!?

I've never really bought any figures from square enix before, so I'm not too familiar with the packaging, and I'm a huge fan of the mcfarlane line... Mostly because I prefer that 6" size class of figure, kinda liked joyride figs, but the size and lack of detail were huge cons for me (personal preferance really) but I hope these come in like a box type, similar to hot toys, rather than a standard box or card.. But these look outstanding!

a few year ago i bought a squall action figure from final fantasy 8 and i have to say that it was perfect, i still have it and it's incredible!!! if this figures tourn out the way that squall did, then there is not point in getting any mcfarlane figures any more, besides, this figures are the size of a joyride figure, i allways liked those figures cause they were big, and i have to say that these figures have everything i want
