even if he gets some lyrics wrong most of his songs are 4 - 6 minutes long its amazing how he remembers the lyrics and while playing the guitaar really fucking fast !!
@gochulord well he could get either stuck in a mosh pit or stuck standing in a tight crowd. i saw streetlight in june and i was with a group of people from my town and we were planning on skanking. we ended up getting kicked out during the fifth song because people werent moving and a kid had to be a bitch and fight my friend because he decided to not move and get in the way of our skanking.
Or you could go by yourself, it's a concert its not like you would be hanging out with your friends for the show, and make sure to bring a shirt you can lose because you will want to take it off, never been to a streetlight show without being completely drenched in sweat when im done
it's already all recorded, they posted this on their site.
"As for 99 Songs, sit tight a tiny bit longer. The record is out of our hands now, in terms of recording, so we're all waiting at this point. We'll be posting a track list on the site very soon."
I can see in the background after looking more toward it that there is a Streetlight backdrop and you can see a guitar wandering on the right side every once in a while. So nevermind my last comment... Also that bouncer looks like a bitch.

Understand that many of the members of BOTAR and SM are the same people.. and that BOTAR doesn't have an official group. But this whole thing is in acoustic. So is this even Streetlight at all? Just a curious question...
actually, the only members that are the same is Tom and Mike soprano, and possibly Jim conti. Its a song that tom wrote awhile back, so no its not "streetlight" but, its a song they perform.
My dad and I went to see streetlight manifesto live, and he was amazed at the energy everyone had in the skank pits, and at one point we were in between two skank pits, and we kept getting hit by people running between them
i can't really hear what exactly he's saying but i remember from when i was at the show he said something about him not knowing the song that well and he forgot to write the lyrics on his arm and invited everyone to sing along
yeah dude, the kid standing next to me at this show was burnt beyond belief... i just dont get why you would wanna be so messed up at such a good show
good call dude. i mean im all for the ganj but not at a streetlight show man. you should wanna be sober to perfectly appreciate everything they do live.
I was probably 2 people to the left of this video...but never saw anyone with a camera. Do you have more songs from that night? I can't find more anywhere.
this was so good played live by them. i cant tell which is better, the botar version or this. i learned to play this on sax and it is so much fun to play!
I wanna see he playing the acoustic upright bass, man, you need to be a superman to do some solo on that thing, the strings are realy high from the arm of the instrument and you need some strenght to play it
Did they ever do a studio recording of this song?

the bouncers are pretty cool at streetlight shows. Streetlight encourages photos and videos
BluSamuraiG 2 years ago
i wish i could go to streetlight concerts... the reason i don't is b/c...
1. i don't want to be stuck in a mosh pit w/ sweaty/mindless teenagers
2. none of my friends like good music... so that's why they hate streetlight.
anyone agree w/ me???^^^^^^^^^^^
i feel like a loser that i've never gone to one of their concerts
BobbyLeshinski 2 years ago 4
@BobbyLeshinski Streetlight crowds usually know how to have fun. I mean they're intense, but not in a "kick the shit out of each other" way.
Just drag someone there and enjoy yourself

going to a streetlight show doesnt mean you're gonna be stuck in a mosh pit. i dont think you've ever even gone to a concert.

that electric double solo... awesome

That upright electric bass is pretty awesome! Any reason he sometimes uses a bass guitar and other times an electric string bass?
TheSidewalkCipher 2 years ago
@TheSidewalkCipher this is a botar cover. BOTAR uses an upright bass

why does tomas skip the guitar solo in "what a wonderful life" ?
do you think its cause streetlight doesnt have a member to do the rythem guitar part? or tomas just cant do it on the spot?

@alwaysblinkin182 i think its the rythm thing

The bouncers look SO laid back...?
Completely different in Montreal, they're always freaking the hell out and pushing people left and right.
Still, amazing song, I'd friggin' kill to hear it live. Why don't streetlight ever play these songs here? (Except for Linoleum, that totally ROCKED.)
Skachuck 2 years ago
I went to see Streetlight in Montreal, the bouncers were so chill, they let us climb up and sit on the stage.

I think they meant the new original album, which they are starting on now, hopefully xD..
btw, that was posted like 6 months ago, we still dont have a track list yet xD....
They like to say things that may not be true, but the longer we wait, the better it will be!

The bass solo shows that the bassist shouldn't be stationed to the back of the stage.
Every bassist Streetlight has had has been absolutely amazing. It always confuses me when I see him all the way back there during their shows.

Word.
Pete, the new one, is my favorite of the bassists, though. Now let him move around stage Tomas!
