kinks are actually usually quite aggressive- you should be careful with these. I work at a zoo with the kinks- I would say you ought to be careful about getting one of these as a pet. Some can be quite lovely.... but certainly not all.
@cmanclan101 hi i had 2 kinksjous , they are very very hyper . if you have any collectables oyt your stuff will get broken . they touch everythitng in there path and knock things over . they cannot be potty trained . ive spoken with lots of breedres th som==ame thing not potty trained. they go to the highest spot then hang there but over an poop .
@MyMurphysLaw coatis are like a raccoon or kink on speed . coatis are so hyper they do not sit still for holding time at leats when they reach adulthood. i had a coati and would never have one again. the best animal i ever had was a pet sloth . there slow and allow to bre held . potty once a week . but theyt are around 5000.00 each good luck
@poopg3 It's possible with any animal to train it to wear a diaper. It just takes some getting used to for the animal. I have definitely heard of them wearing diapers.
I just got a kinkajou as a HUGE suprise for Christmas and I am 15. She is handicapped and has only 3 legs .... but you cant tell, my parents are Veternarians, and my mom thought that it would be best for her if we took her out of everyone else. She is VERY VERY curious at only 4 months old, I love her to death already, any name ideas??
@lala321231 you could go to this one breeder's website, and they have a couple of different kinds of animals that they breed: castleberrysafariltd(dot)com
@geobeats I would LOVE to have a Kinkajou as a companion. I have a thing or exotic animals and after about 5 years of research I have found that this pet would fit perfectly with my lifestyle and schedule. Although it will be costly, I will start saving in the next year to get one plus the housing and food. I also read that they are pretty quiet and low in odor, which is a GREAT selling point with my wife.lol
Can you give me a link where to buy a cage for these cuties?

America is weird... why would you want a "wild" animal as a pet! They belong in the wild not in a cage!!!

these kind of animals should be in their natural habitat not in a cage inside a house... it's sad

I heard they are practically impossible to potty train. Has anyone heard of using small diapers on kinkajous like they do with small monkeys?
