I like your warshrine, but it does look a little flimsy amongst the heavy armoured units.

i reckon another good shrine would be like a big chunk of stone from a chaos temple with like a bunch of enslaved Empire people dragging it along. The piece itself could really be a rock with, i dunno, daemonic gargoyles carved into it or even have like a daemon growing out of it, with symbols of the chaos gods all over it and stuff.

Essentially, a bit like that ogre who carries his bowl of guts around.

i had a chaos army with about 2500 points take on a dark elf army of 3000 points : i won !!! i had a convirted choas highlord and core units all painted in black, white and gold

so i like ur army, but it is nothing compared to mine :)

I havnt worked with grey stuff myself but from what I understand its better for actual sculpting and green stuff is better gap filling and small things like hair becuse its not as stable as grey stuff is when it dries

I'm kind of torn at the moment. I was going to collect an Ogre Kingdoms army, because they look so cool and they're big enough to allow for quite a lot of conversion work but almost everyone i speak to says they are really bad on the tabletop, and i wont be winning many games with them. Which is quite dissapointing. I don't want to do an army that other people in my club do, so i'm left with Ogre Kingdoms, Chaos Mortals or Dark Elves. I hate dark elves except for 1 or 2 models, Chaos are ok.

go for the army you think looks best. Otherwise you won't have soo much fun. It's like me. I chose to go for a complete Goblin (+ troll) army. And, well, I NEVER won a game with them, but atleast I like 'em and I'm enjoying myself :).

im not that much of a fantasy player, but you'll definitly be winning more games with dark elves and chaos. Every army is good, just on how you use them, dark eldar suck unless you have a great stratagy. another thing could be that there to good and your freinds don't want to play with them. that sounds like my group.
