Amazing memories, and great old friends.. That I'll probably never get to talk to again..

I never turned off my Xbox, I would just fall asleep and the main music would be playing.

I still have that Xbox to this day, and never had a problem with it.

Reminds me of when i was in the 7th grade. That was back in a time where nobody played cod or battlefield, everyone who had xbox live played halo, and all my friends played halo. Reminds me of the days where we would go to our friends houses, play all day, go ride our bikes to get food or energy drinks, and then we would go back home and play halo all night and i loved it. No girls, no studying, no job, just freedom. God i miss those days.

I think Halo 2 is truly an under appreciated game. It ushered in multiplayer matchmaking, ranks and competitive play on all consoles. It had a decent campaign and set the benchmark for original Xbox graphics. It had an amazing soundtrack and brilliant netcode online.

I miss Halo 2. I wish Xbox Live didn't suck so much these days.

The Halo Trilogy is my favorite game series of all time. It just brings back so many great memories when I was younger. Eh Reach was okay... but I still like the originals better. Playing them now never fails to make me cry. The remake of CE is probably gonna be good. I just hope that the new trilogy coming out is as good as the old ones. If Halo 4 and the ones after aren't good then I'll just go back to these ones.

@InescapablePain I feel exactly the same way, I am currently 17 and the part of my childhood i will always remember involves this game. me and my friends who are now somewhat distant, grew up playing this game together. of course we did many other things as well like played every sport known to man and much more. we were too busy having fun to stop and take pictures we could one day look back on. so this game is the only thing that remains as a precious memento of the good times we had!

REALLY wish this series was the same. I can't stand to even play it anymore. I don't know what's worse, the new wave of intolerable fan boys, the angry 12 year olds that infest the Halo 3 and Reach servers, or how Bungie destroyed Halos back story with Reach.
