Went there for my first wedding anniversary! The venison was EXCELLENT. And try the Wassail! Candlelight dinner and great food! Can't wait to go there again!
You say 'since 1733' ... but the restaurant is a modern replica of the restaurant from 1733 which is no longer there. I was dissapointed when I found that out vs. the marketing. However, I will say that the food was good (could have used more chicken in the pot pie, only a few chunks) ... a little pricey for dinner but the dining experience was a great REPLICA experience of dining in Colonial times for sure. I'd recommend this restaurant in Philly. Great for kids!
