It's all very heavily sample based like regular hip hop but tends to also feature a lot of synth depending on the producer. Sometimes beat hip hop producers make albums of just beats and remixes.
I forgot I beat my meat before this with the porn on mute and then I saw that Weeknd blogged this, I opened it and umuted it, mid-song so the entire song I had the audio of porn playing in another tab and noticed after the song was over that I still had the porn playing.
Long story short, This track + porn audio, possibly the best song ever.
