Ford Focus RS auf der Nordschleife -- Alternativer Schnitt

Comparing something like Megane R26R (a full blown factory made track day car, no AC, less noise insulation etc.) to a fast daily drive like Focus RS is, is a bit ridiculous.

Comlpetely dry track and it STILL couldn't best the time of the cobalt SS (Time of 8:22 with partially wet track)

Tut mir Leid aber der Megane RS26R ist fast 10 sek. schneller mit 75 PS weniger. "Agiler und so gehorsamer am Limit hat sich bisher schon der Renault Megane als Fronttriebler in Szene gesetzt." wäre richtig!

R26R without semislicks got a time of 8:24 , what means 2 just seconds faster, not 10 sec!!!

If you listen carefully - he said after his lap that the RS was equipped with Toyo "sporttires" while on track. I'm pretty sure these were the same R888 as the R26.R - 8:26 is not very fast for a 305HP care...

The Focus here as the commentatore said has the same semi slick than the Mégane R26R. ;-)

Das kann wohl nicht dein ernst sein. Der RS26R ist ne reine Rennmaschine. 200 kg leichte mit Käffig/Plexiglass Heckscheibe/keine Klimaanlage und und und. Wie wilst du den mit einem altagstauglichen Focus RS vergleichen. HAHAHA

Wen der Focus gleich ausgereumt währe und das Fahrwerk noch kompromislosser anstimmst wäre dan gute nacht Renault. Wiel dan mal den Vergleich sehen vom neuen Megan RS gegen den Focus das wirt intteresant und auch ein fährer vergleich.

This is Horst von Saurma he has made more laps than 99.9% of the people who drove in Nordschleife, and holds a the bests times for several models at this track. It's maybe simply because the Ford Focus RS is a shit.
