i have been to guantameno bay, the only australian ever except for david hicks.
and i can tell you first hand that the prisoners eat subway and mcdonalds, have playstations ect....
its much better than you think it is....but still a prison and very boring for the inmates.
i was there with my rock band playing shows for the troops and the population is about 10 thousand people on base.

Here's the deal about this dude. He was former Ausi Special Forces. He converted to Islam and went to Afganistan to fight with the Taliban. A friend of mine was one of his guards at Gitmo. The dude was extremely dangerous and a radical islamist. He told them he had no regrets and would do it all over again. He broke one female guards arm when she brought him his meal one day.
