@holymoly42 no difference in handling with these bars... you have to get better tires and suspension for better handling... i put on michelin power 2CT and it turns in alot quicker epspecially i up the PSi to 40...

yes.. but this bike was designed to be a softer, touring bike vs a gsxr or cbr RR.

Hey was there any drilling or anything necessary to mount your controls on those bars? can you describe the installation process please?

only thing i can do is the oil change/ air filter/ and chain maintenance.

Initially, I was torn between the ninja650shop sportbars and suburban but both seem to have clearace issues, with the sportbar being far worse than the SB. Any clearnce issues with the drag bars when at full locked to either side?

you get much more confidence with the lower bars...

handling is the same, but you are in a more safe body position to be draggin a knee.. and you are out of the wind more..

this drag bar is universal for any 7/8th handlebar, which is all ninja 650r... its a great deal over the sport bars v2...

i actually wished the Ermax seat cowl looked more like yours shape wise but i do like how the Ermax just snaps on and doesnt have those screws or whatever way it connects to your seat tho.

how is that 2009 LCD display? is it better than the analog tachs ?

I am jealous of the fuel gauge on the 09-10 650r...

yup its made to just snap on and it is possible to do a nice tug and slide it straight off the back. I should prolly figure a way to keep it more secure from under the seat. The LCD display is pretty cool, it gives a lil futuristic look. some people like to see the analog needle move around tho.

Nice bike. I actually ordered the Ermax seat cowl for 145. When i recieved it i was surprised that it actually came with the rear hugger for my 09 650r.

i dont mid these drag bars... the sb v2 cost too much $160 vs $20 .... and i prefer any lower bars than the stockers...
