@dathip its the first in a trilogy but i doubt sales were high enough to make a sequel but its a really good game if your patient. there are some points in the later game where i died at least 8 times in order to get through

@calvinhobbes888 lol on my defender i can take him down in like 30 seconds flat. im cl 50 now but even when i was at 19 like this guy it only took a minute to finish him.

@TheRedMan2550 i can actualy 1-shot him on my champion, but the little mini-cutscene doesnt allow that to happen and gives him most of his health back. you still play? i havent played in forever and been thinking about playing it again. have lvl 50 defender, 50 champion, 50 comando, and 50 berserker

i really do suggest when fighting grendel that you use some gunfire....for any range-ed weaponry but close action worked for me until about 1/3 of his life was left

grendel = beast from nordic mythology.. something both too human & beowulf are based on.. so.. no.. its the same beast, but it's not based on beowulf, but rather the nordic mythology..

Cool thing about the bosses in this game. If you use a ruiner (rb button) the boss will momentarily freeze in one spot. This is great for you berserkers out there because you can use a ruiner when he loses 1/4 of his health and bypass the walking stage entirely.

one of the greatest wyas of beating this boss is either useing a plasma grenade launcher [pressing the left trigger] or a character with moderate mele damge [use air combat] hope i was of some help..

MESSAGE TO ALL TOO HUMAN NEWCOMMERS: as i can probually guess man you you newcomers have probually choosen the CHapion class. If i were all of you, i would choose the COMMANDO class. when you reach lvl 10 choose the human path! when you progress to lvl 50 there is a special ASEIR set abaliable for him. I have it and i hit an average 700-900 per shot [with out my battle cry [when you press x] when i do active it a hit 2300-2500 a shot!] my guns hit rate is 3 times as fast, and shoots like a lasr

Commando is only good late game when you can kill gobins 1 shot at long range

Beserkers are hard to get used to cuz of the lower health

And every class can be godlike with the right specs

When I saw how rapid your gunfire was, I was like "that can't be the Berserker!" Cause I played Grendel as Berserker, and took forever. He's prone to melee attacks when he's feral form, but when bipedal form, I learned DO NOT GET CLOSE TO HIM! LOL

i think in this game your mean to play the campaign as champion because in story you clearly see he is a champion with the 2 pistols and 1 two handed sword

It really does work out nicely that way. Also, I think cybernetic as well because when you talk to Thor, Baldur remarks that he has "embraced the cold touch of steel" which doesn't really make sense if you're human.
