My daughter's camera wouldn't turn on at all after being dropped. I followed your instructions to open. Above the LCD screen was a computer cable that was unplugged from its port (took me a minute to figure out where it went, as the port was under the LCD screen). Plugged it in, inserted some batteries, and the camera started. Thanks for your video, because even though I took the screws out on my own, I wasn't sure how to separate the casings.
i need a flash for mine. after being dropped about 30 times the flash stopped working. So everytime i try to take a pic the camera freezes up and i have to remove the batteries. Where can i get a flash for this camera?
I got the camera you see me working on, I got it off of ebay for $10. get one that is broken, repair or as is. Check them out but make sure the flash work...
yeah i took apart mine and realized the reason the flash didnt work is because the capacitor inside the camera had broken off the board and broke a little piece of the circuit board off with it. And the soldering is way too fine for anything i can do. But the ebay idea is a good one. I may try that. Thanks
I own a samsung s730 and i took it apart. When i turn on the camera with everything connected, the screen turns on and lens responds to its "zoom" functions, but on the display, it is "on" because it says the date, and everything, it just does not show what the lens is capturing.
What do i need to fix this problem? Get a new lens digital video converter thing? I have taken it completely apart, including the lens, and some help would be appreciated. thanks.
Do you know how I can fix the flash on my camera? When I try to take pictures and the flash is on the flash icon just highlights red and never takes the picture. Could you offer me any assistance?
Hello, I can make a new video on how to change the flash this weekend. Sorry it took so long to get back to your answer, my computer been down. So look for it this weekend.
You can find the LCD on ebay, and if it cost too much for the LCD, by a broken camera on ebay, then take the LCD out. That's what I did, and I only pade $15.00. The lens was broken and it didn't work, but I onlt need the LCD.

ok, but where do you get a replacement LCD screen? The only place I can think of is getting a broken camera from EBAY that has a good screen.
Secondly, that green piece you peeled back. How does it reattach - isnt that the ribbon cable?
