I heard something the other day that I liked. Basically it was saying that we are spiritual beings where we live a life where everything is oneness and we work together and we are a peaceful being. We are sent here so we know our opposite of ourselves, so when we die and go back we can appreciate that oneness that we have and to know what it's like without it. I've just sat and been transfixed by this incredible young mans words of wisdom, with the backdrop of the sickening horror of the cruelty, knowing that it is wrong -but inside I know that we all have a subconscious (or even concious) predisposition to being equally as cruel, insensitive and complacent about the feelings of others. This is good stuff, although I'm not sure I agree with the 'self-hate' bit. I remember reading an interview with the Dalai Lama about how western psychology deals with this whole 'self hate' thing, which he thought was quite strange, seeing as that view doesn't exist in Buddhism because they believe everyone does almost everything for themselves in their lives... so how could they possibly hate themselves?
I believe if we start with ourselves we can change as a whole. When we pay attention to what we say and do and how we react to those around us who feel empowered by hurting others--don't laugh with them. Surround yourself with like minded people, don't be selfish, love even if its not returned--because they are hurting and don't let it stir negative emotions in you. Look at what you have and be grateful but not dependent upon things not needed. Think how changes can be made locally 1@ atime.
I think all the (spiritual)leaders of this time (like obama, dalai lama, the pope) need to be informed by this real truth. When this is done, the followers(normal humans) will be inspired by their leaders to open their minds. Each leader will speak to their specific group of followers witch will create (hopefully) a new world with a whole new mentality, to create love, sincerity, and solidarity, instead of hating each other, wars and so on.

I think you missed the point. They are acting unconsciously. What they are doing is terrible and shocking yes and yet you would now judge their actions and use that judgment to consciously choose to act in exactly the same manner as they did towards those animals?

Animal cruelty is a harsh reality that is disturbing and hard to deal with. People need to see it and realize they contribute to it without realizing it. Everytime we go to a PETCO, or buy meat products. I'm just as guilty as anyone but it still needs to be brought to the light.

Its hard to say what will work and what wont unless we try. Or here is a law. If you are caught drunk driving, you get life in prison automatically, no parole, no lesser sentence. Trust me, i still sometimes find myself driving drunk at times, but only cause the law of 5 days in jail and a bs 500$ fine dont do enough to scare me. If the punishment was life, i would never drive drunk, i would sleep in the car until morning, no matter how drunk i am, i woudl still not drive. etc./
Except 5 days in jail still prevents SOME people from driving drunk, whereas even the most democratic governments get away with EVERY CRIME THEY COMMITT.. When you weigh the odds like that...we are definitely better without so much law.

Interesting video w/ some good insight on the corruption of mankind. However, the solution to the problem is no real solution at all. All information is neither good or bad and u have to make the choice have some serious pitfalls. Knowledge how to kill and deception is clearly bad knowledge. I remember reading an interview with the Dalai Lama about how western psychology deals with this whole 'self hate' thing, which he thought was quite strange, seeing as that view doesn't exist in Buddhism because they believe everyone does almost everything for themselves in their lives... so how could they possibly hate themselves?

I believe if we start with ourselves we can change as a whole. When we pay attention to what we say and do and how we react to those around us who feel empowered by hurting others--don't laugh with them. Surround yourself with like minded people, don't be selfish, love even if its not returned--because they are hurting and don't let it stir negative emotions in you. Look at what you have and be grateful but not dependent upon things not needed. Think how changes can be made locally 1@ atime.

When this is done, the followers(normal humans) will be inspired by their leaders to open their minds. I think you missed the point. They are acting unconsciously. What they are doing is terrible and shocking yes and yet you would now judge their actions and use that judgment to consciously choose to act in exactly the same manner as they did towards those animals?
Doing so does not bring change, does nothing to stop cruelty, its simply takes the same kind of unconscious behavior to a whole new level of CONSCIOUS cruelty and thus the energy is perpetuated.

Animal cruelty is a harsh reality that is disturbing and hard to deal with. People need to see it and realize they contribute to it without realizing it. Everytime we go to a PETCO, or buy meat products. I'm just as guilty as anyone but it still needs to be brought to the light.

I love this video and deeply thank you for making it. Feeling people DO have the authority to step in and stop the kind of horrific animal cruelty you so painfully (and rightly) depict. As you stated, they are literally innocents, in the truest sense of the world. What more could we do then? Stand by and watch such a horror? Why did we hang Nazis at Nuremberg? I'm not talking about mobs or reprisal violence. But we have every right, and duty, to step in and end that kind of atrocity.

Its hard to say what will work and what wont unless we try. Or here is a law. If you are caught drunk driving, you get life in prison automatically, no parole, no lesser sentence. Trust me, i still sometimes find myself driving drunk at times, but only cause the law of 5 days in jail and a bs 500$ fine dont do enough to scare me. If the punishment was life, i would never drive drunk, i would sleep in the car until morning, no matter how drunk i am, i woudl still not drive. etc./

Except 5 days in jail still prevents SOME people from driving drunk, whereas even the most democratic governments get away with EVERY CRIME THEY COMMITT.. When you weigh the odds like that...we are definitely better without so much law.

Harsh Laws will help. Not for all things, but most regular things. Example= THIEF LAW= any shoplifter that gets caught automatically gets the punishment of having both arms and legs cut off. That simple. Trust me, you will see the shoplifting crime go down. Sure there will still be idiots and people who steal that wont care and think they will not get caught. But eventually, majority of the stealing will go down. Its that simple. Harsher laws would work because nothing else seems to.have to try

I have not looked in to stem cell research to find out exactly what that can help with. Have you heard of The Davistnitoc Maniacs? They are 3, 19 year old teenagers that tortured and killed dozens upon dozens of animals and 21 humans in a 6 year span in Ukraine, Russia. They got caught and the doctors found them to be completely sane and they said they did it cause its a hobby, for fun, to have something to tell their gandkids when they get old. If here in USA, they make a law, that says" If you are caught stealing ANYTHING from say age 10. Age 10 is a good start to when a child can be taught not to steal and think about it. Interesting video w/ some good insight on the corruption of mankind. However, the solution to the problem is no real solution at all. All information is neither good or bad and u have to make the choice have some serious pitfalls. Knowledge how to kill and deception is clearly bad knowledge. Also, while we do have to make a choice, we also need to realize we are faulty ourselves, hence the evil from humans in this world, and need to trust in the God who created us.

I agree with some that the disturbing images in this part were not necessary. I stops me from posting this part to my weblog. Fortunately I was only listening to the documentary, not watching. Somebody sent me a movie the other day with the body of a baby being filled with drugs. Really.. I don't need to see that without asking. By providing those images without asking you take away a person's choice to see it or not and thus liberty. We have to be our own guides and select the info we want.

The disturbing images do nothing but help to prove the point he is making.
It was very disturbing and I had to fast forward a bit, probably missing information. But, the inclusion of that footage does nothing but help us understand the seriousness of what he's trying to explain.
Complaining about it is trivial, and running away from it and ignoring it is even worse. Doesn't solve the problem because it still remains...

I agree. This video is good, but he pissed me off when he said that its scares him more that we woudl want to harm those who harm the animals and others. Im sorry, but no matter how this life came to be and if there is a god or not, etc. The only way to STOP cruelty towards animals and alike is to fight fire with fire and that means, KILLING all those who do harm. I hope those fucking Chinese fucks get their. The problem still exists because we dont know how to fix it, or not enough want to.

However, despite this belief, I get very negative and depressed myself sometimes.. because I am involving myself with all the negativity in the world on purpose to wake myself up. I'm going straight against into my own beliefs... and that's my own Anti-Christ within myself. For example: Sitting hours in front of the pc.. while forgetting to be happy with loved ones for example. That's the paradox within.. at least for me.

My personal belief is that in ancient times 'the bloodlines', as they are called in this documentary indeed have designed a system which tries to make us feel negative and think negative so we create negative without understanding. They DO understand so they control.
Feeling and being positive is the most important to accelerating evolution of consciousness in the positive direction.
We can only fight darkness with light and fear with love.

Torture and suffering are A temporary truth, however... they are not THE Truth. The supreme Truth is... that ALL experiences belong to the mind alone... whether it be the so called individual mind OR the collective mind of humanity. Don't be fooled. We are NOT our bodies. I suggest that he is an ancient soul., an ancient "AWAKENED" soul. Most humans are still operating from the dualistic perspective BUT... there is a Higher State of Pure BEing, this is the NON Dual State where the play of good vs evil is totally transcended. I flagged this video. I do not need to witness animal cruelty in order to know it exists. I realize these people eat dogs and cats, but I also realize murderers kill people; neither of which has to be shown to me in order for me to "get it".
Shame on you for putting this into my psyche. You obviously feel everyone must witness such cruelty at such an extreme level because it is reality. It is not my reality and I will never view your work again.

Listen man I get what you're saying. But what he's doing here is simply exposing us to the truth and showing us the flaws of humanity in its current state we already kno of. You said it yourself, "I do not need to witness animal cruelty in order to know it exists." so really this video isn't damaging your psyche in any way. you know what an animal is. you know what cruelty can be. your pysche has already put those images together by the patterns you learn from through your subconscious!
