I also think Mayer is better than Bonamassa, but a good argument would be John Mayer vs. Jonny Lang because I have a hard time deciding between the two... I love them both :)

Personally Joe would crap on anybody out there. His Acoustic playing is the best I've ever seen. P.s. I was at this gig, ive seen John twice and seen Joe 3 times. They've both blown my brains but Joe is just another level. But they both have completely different styles, sounds and talents.

If you look at John Mayer's most recent videos and compare skill wise, I think it's safe to say Mayer is better now. I mean long before, Bonamassa probably had a better skill level, but watching Mayer recently, he improved a lot. He's nothing like you see in this video here.
