  • Ryanair is taking me home to Knock :)

  • Anybody know if Luke Kelly was singing on this record? also, looking for Christy OConnor's version if it's around.

  • UP Mayo!

  • It is also very fitting that the Gaughan family motto is "Dum spiro spero" (While I breathe, I hope)

  • My name actually IS Michael Gaughan. It is a name I am proud to have!

  • Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self-worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food-store has security gaurds on them and everybody judges you for simple things like the way you dress acked behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot exspress your true self in Dublin because the culture is so exstremley different to everywhere.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste your just a fucking dafty with comments like that i bet u smoke a pipe and watch trins fuck off ya nut

  • @juv7 its all true.dublin ireland is fucking boring.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste well its a site better than south africa fuck sake all you do is kill every cunt over there anyway if u think that dont go back then my dads was irish and there the greatest people in the world

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Maybe the people there didn't take 2 you too well because your a nigger & only 1 step up the evoltionary tree from a chimpanzee. You cant blame people there really, everybody feels a bit wooried when they see a wild animal walking freely about the streets unchained. I mean really look at Africa, its about 2000 years behind the rest of the world. The only black people that are even partially domesticated seem to live in the west.

  • Ny father's favorite song. I can hear him singing it, loud and proud, off key and hearty just the same. An hour ago my father went home to Mayo for the final time, and I realize the ol' man could sing a lot better than I can.

  • I never used to appreciate these songs when I was younger. It was always dance, trance or techno. When you get that little bit older, you start to listen to them and appreciate their musical beauty. Nice song!

  • aye begorrah indeed, I loved this song but never really listened to the words and now living in MD, USA I have a greater appreciation of my Irishness and my home in Tipperary. Dia Dhuit
