Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self-worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food-store has security gaurds on them and everybody judges you for simple things like the way you dress acked behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot exspress your true self in Dublin because the culture is so exstremley different to everywhere.
@OBAMAisHalfCaste well its a site better than south africa fuck sake all you do is kill every cunt over there anyway if u think that dont go back then my dads was irish and there the greatest people in the world
@OBAMAisHalfCaste Maybe the people there didn't take 2 you too well because your a nigger & only 1 step up the evoltionary tree from a chimpanzee. You cant blame people there really, everybody feels a bit wooried when they see a wild animal walking freely about the streets unchained. I mean really look at Africa, its about 2000 years behind the rest of the world. The only black people that are even partially domesticated seem to live in the west.
@borledx haha in your own white womans eyes you,re below the black man and the fact that millions of your redneck women world-wide in verious different countries outside ireland such as england france portugal brazil americaspain holland and so on give birth and life to millions of non-white half-caste and quarter-caste children instead of white boys like you clearly speaks for itself. and you,re only 3-million population over their so you,re inbred to the core. famine cunt.
@antmac39 hey song soooo sad, sorri bout ur dad, been to ballina every year always visit MICHAEL GAUGHANS grave well kept,no wat its like to loose some-one so special who died for the cause,GOD SAVE IRELAND!!!
He told him of the majority of PRO-British majority in Ulster and of the weapons that the orange men had compared to the IRA in an open battle the Orange men would have march up and down Ireland from Belfast to Cork
Heard this first played by Harry Hibbs, same as I first heard Harry's version of Liverpool Lou...I always knew Newfies and Irish were the same in sorts, but through song the comparison is amazing. by'
Ny father's favorite song. I can hear him singing it, loud and proud, off key and hearty just the same. An hour ago my father went home to Mayo for the final time, and I realize the ol' man could sing a lot better than I can.
I never used to appreciate these songs when I was younger. It was always dance, trance or techno. When you get that little bit older, you start to listen to them and appreciate their musical beauty. Nice song!

Yes, it is aka (The Ballad of) Michael Gaughan. Seamus Robinson of Belfast wrote it in 1974 as a tribute to IRA volunteer Gaughan
who died on hunger-strike in a British gaol.
