There's no reason to push such legislation through so quickly unless you know it would have been soundly rejected had the people really saw what was in it. It's a bad bill, plain and simple. Coakley did not run a good campaign and she did not have the finances backing her like Brown did. As for health care things have understandably slowed down but that does not mean it is over in fact it is kind of a good thing because many people we not satisfied with the bill the way it was. Now we probably have a much better chance of getting the public option. I am not worried in the least. WE may even end up with a single payer plan before it's over.
