nou bad, but your first haul does not have enough pace to speed up your cast, and your second haul is to aggressive when landing in the water your leader will either be in a tangle or else they wont present themselves properly. tight lines
Many thanks for your informed comment , the Rod being used a Gloomis T116-38 tournament rod with a 38gm shooting head.
I've never implied that I was an expert or an acredited instructor - the video was taken to highlight a few issues with my own cast (still not perfect) as I reach closer to casting 55m. (the long grass didn't help as the line was being hooked up on the backcast)
This is a good example of "how not to cast". This guy is working way too hard. Gotta keep that arm low and elbow down. Ok to extend arm on back cast, but his style is not good at all.
Dartmoordog - Many thanks for your comments, which are neither critical or complimentary. Making such brash statements as "too many mistakes to list here" are very helpful and informative to everyone - not.
Are you aware of a T38 setup ?
Either make a reference to particular point (with either compliment or why it shouldn'r be doen that way ) or face your comment being deleted.
Your gonna hate me for this....But this is not good casting at all. There are too many mistakes to list here, but for the beginner, do not look at this as an example of good casting pracice.
