  • hi youareso good player more like tis song thanks...

  • Gosh, you do a great job on this. I love steel guitars.

  • Great playing!! I couldn't help singing with you. You're playing the Ray Price version. THIS is Country Music. Loved it!! you sound like one of the old pros from the Golden Years.

  • The original song was done by Ray Prices, but the singer here is Bob Browning , from Jeff Newman's Woodshed Workshop Series #30. Nice job

  • The singer would be Mr. Ray Price.

This is really good steel work. Mr. Tommy Morrell is smiling up in heaven at you. God bless anybody playing Western Swing. By the way, this is an old Bob Wills tune. And God bless him and Betty.

  • AND AGAIN.THANK YOU FOR SHARING.

  • I HAD TO COME BACK AGAIN.THANKS A LOT.

  • BRILLIANT.THANK YOU FOR LISTING.

  • Who is doing the singing?

  • Brain : How lucky you are to hear from our good friend, Dave Hartley; Can't get any better a compliment than that. You're sounding great ,buddy. Did you get to meet Mr. Hartley when he was in Dallas back in March? Did he sound as good , in person, as he does on U-Tube. Send us another good C/W video, Brain.. Your Northern N.Y. Buddy..Bernie

  • The Pedal Steel, when played well, has an emotional quality to it, it can make you feel emotional pain and pleasure, like few other instruments can, in my opinion. Good job! :)

  • Thanks a bunch MadDaddy for the compliment, yeah if you get a pedal steel be sure to get it with at least 3 floor pedals and 4 knee levers...the extra 5th knee lever would be better as you will want to lower the B's 5 & 10 string on the E-9th neck, in either the emmonds setup or day setup which ever you prefer. most just learn on the emmonds setup.

take care and learn all you can, but most of all have fun doing it...Brian

  • GReat stuff...I'm looking at getting into pedal steel guitar soon, and I noticed that you have the three pedals, do you think that will hold me over for a good amount of time?

  • You're absolutely right "drtalkster." I'm 23, and I can't stand the new country. It's essentially pop-rock with a twang. When I think of country, I think of Cash, Jones, and Williams.

  • Jeez, why don't they make country tunes like this anymore??? I'm 38 and I grew up on the sounds of 60's country. The "new" country is nothing more than a slight variation of top 10 pop music. I spent many years as a DJ playing in country clubs and jamming with acts from all over North America (drums). Stuff like this tune...good 2-steppin' stuff was ALWAYS a favorite among all ages at the clubs. Oh well.

  • Hello Brian. Just watched some of your videos. Very nice too! Hope you are doing fine, I will be in touch soon with an email. David Hartley

  • Brian; are you using one of Jeff Newman's tracks? Sounding good, my man.. Keep them coming..Bernie

  • Thanks a bunch for the compliment Bernie, yes sir the sound track is from the Great Mr. Jeff Newman...he definately had some number one quality sound tracks that is for sure...Take Care and as always "Keep on Pickin...Your South Tx. friend...Brian

  • Who's version of "My Shoes" is that you're playing along with??

  • 5 BIG ONES - JUST GREAT. THANKYOU.

  • I love that phase!

  • Thank ya'll a bunch for the compliments...I love the Derby, it is a smooth playing Pedal Steel Guitar...I just need to sit at it more, The Derby's been kinda lonely the last couple of weeks as I have been working too much, will post some new songs on it asap...Take Care all....Brian

  • Love that Derby. They play great. Plus you sound great too.

  • FAN-DAM-TASTIC!!!!

  • Still sounding great, don't ever give up the Pedal Steel and go back to the Drums, the Steel Guitar fits you best. CB

  • Terry...Thanks for the compliment, I have sold all of my Drums and plan to keep on playing this beautiful sounding instrument...Take care...Brian

  • Brian, don't ever go back to the drums. The pedal steel is made for you...Great job man.. Terry from Kentucky....
