Ekuboim, would you please respond and tell me which type of flour you used for this cake? It looks very good, and I want to make it sometime, but should I use all-purpose flour? Regular cake flour? Regular self-rising? Self-rising cake flour? This recipe has no baking powder, so I was wondering if it was necessary to use a self-rising flour in order for this chocolate cake to rise properly. Or is the baking soda alone is sufficient in this case?
You said that it could be any kind of flour, then you mentioned cake flour, and self-rising. But different types of flour will give different results. Self-rising has salt and baking powder added. I was curious which type you used for this chocolate cake?
