  • i like this game but gothic 3 has better soundtrack,Check it out!

  • whats the song at 1:53??

  • @MajorAALAN Check the damn description xD

  • 1:53..... my absolute favorite. Sir , you simply rule for putting these up. Thank you!

  • I guess you can say Jeremy puts his Soule into his work.

    YEEEEEEEEAH

  • Skyrim fans will never know how epic it was to play Morrowind in the past. Graphic didn't really matters, only the enjoy of plaing was really great.

  • @Loleexer True, I tried playing Morrowind and Oblivion after I played Skyrim but just couldn't get into it because of the outdated look, and I feel sorry for that. I wish I was there when the games first came out :( The music is so beautiful from all three games.

  • @Loleexer So just because you didn't get to play a game means you're not a true fan? BS.

  • @Loleexer Actually I DO know how epic it was to play Morrowind. I still have it. I have Oblivion and Skyrim as well. My boyfriend has Arena and Daggerfall. So combined we have the entire series. We KNOW how epic the games are.

  • @Loleexer The story in Morrowind was my favorite :)

  • i love this music it feels like i'm walking around in the market district

  • Elder Scrolls VI: Elsweyr, Elder Scrolls VII: Valenwood, Elder Scrolls VIII: Black Marsh ;)

  • @JayTwoHands I have a feeling we will be seeing either summerset isles or valenwood next... the Thalmor seem to be playing a huge role in the story...

  • Jeremy Soule should have his own radio station..

  • 1:51 :O wow...

  • *has no words to describe the music*

  • i miss oblivion ;_;

  • If this music were in the form of a female, i'd marry her and fuck her until we both die from loss of energy.

  • After the soundtrack to Oblivion I'm slightly underimpressed with Skyrim's score. It's just not as atmospherically engaging as the Oblivion composition. Then again, that might just be because I've heard literally hundreds of hours of the Oblivion soundtrack and only about 30 hours of Skyrim's thus far, so maybe I'll warm up to it.

  • To be honest this is depressing. Now that Skyrim is out this game is done...it will be played, but not as much as it once was. I will always, always love this game. It was just amazing. Sitting in my room alone on those june summer nights, sneaking through castles and not having a care in the world. All the while, listening to this in the background. I miss the days so much. <3 Oblivion forever.

  • *Installs Oblivion for recreational reasons*

  • elder scrolls fans are not fans but more of a family of the greatest game ever

  • @LOVESTOSKATE219 Hey brother, lol

  • Everytime I hear these I feel myself in Tamriel :)

  • the elder scrolls series fills my heart an soul with love an passion. it has nothing to do with computer games to compensate your problems or to let time lapse away, it is art on a very sentimental level, art that makes you wonder to go out and explore the world on your own. i am thankful to be part of this wonderful relationship that only exists in my imagination, and i feel sorry for those who cant see and understand the meaning of computer games like these.

  • @1100010000 i thought i was the only one. thank you for proving me wrong

  • @1100010000 I think video games have the potential to become the premiere art form; Elder Scrolls is a good example of how the line between video games and art is becoming blurred :):) cheers mate!

  • Elder Scrolls - best game series ever.

  • That first song.... that damn first song....

Dont get me wrong, is beautiful, but it the beginning sounds too much like a combat theme... I was always crouching/ looking around every time i heard it..

  • Ohh..I want live in world of this game! In Cyrodil,in my favorite town Skingrad.

  • I am High and I was Like yo I could check some Oblivion relaxing song and remember the good old memories lolll...CANT WAIT FO SKYRIM !!! :)

  • This game series is the epitome of my life, and I think skyrim will top all of them, just because of the length of detail and realism that they put into it. Skyrim will be another version of our lives!

  • I bought Oblivion when it came out then again when they put out the GOTY edition.

  • @StealTheShow23

I read number 1 as "Hunt down Jeremy Soule"

    Guess that's acceptable too.

  • @Lavabear120 Lol! Think of how awesome it would be to have Jeremy Soule, and his entire orchestra doing the soundtrack for your life. Something as simple as making toast would become an event of epic proportions. :P

  • just realised something, elder scrolls fans are just as nice as the music, today is happy day for my life :)

  • @Greenhelm64

yeah they are. just as long as you dont mention arrows or knees

  • 4:11 is my fav.. amazing

  • @TheMartialartsJedi I agree. I do think it may very well top Morrowind, but that remains to be seen for another 5 weeks yet. Either way, it's all good because Bethesda will also be coming out with a special '10th anniversary' edition of Morrowind featuring updated graphics! The same thing as what 343 is doing with Halo CE Anniversary. So in any case, it's definitely a great time to be alive for us Elder Scrolls fans!

  • @Ozymandias916 WOAH AN UPDATED MORROWIND?? do you have proof? can you link me an article or video or something?

  • @BRANDONimasleep If I remember correctly it was mentioned in a recent issue of either PSM3 or OXM.

  • @MrDallt i knw ay i can't believe how realistic it can be at times.. yoour feel captured in a game and suddenly 4 hours has gone past you... AMAZING

  • this just got me through my college thesis. no joke.

  • @TheMartialartsJedi if it will top oblivion then it will definitely top morrowind.im sure it will. you might have all your good memories to nostalgia about, but that doesn't make morrowind or oblivion better.

  • So whats everyone thinking? SKYRIM? Can it top Oblivion? btw you have to spell SKYRIM with all capitals :)

  • in the part peace of Akatosh you can hear a wraith breathing very softly...

    im so relaxed right now...

  • They really out did themelves for the landscaping in the game. I have to say the region around Skingrad is my favorite

  • through the valleys is silt sunrise from morrowind... I KNEW IT !!! i have been looking for the morrowind and oblivion version to compare them !!

  • @MrDallt Perhaps Cyrodiil is real-life, and we are the ones trapped in a video game.

  • @RectalSpoonNinja I wish...

  • I want to go back to the first time I played this game... so many memories. So many discoveries.

  • @elpawlsak You and me both pal ^^....Man both Morrowind and Oblivion were some of the best experiences I've ever had the first (and only time so far) I played them trough. But I can't help, listening this fantastic and beautiful music by Jeremoy Soule simply makes me want to play them both again before moving on to Skyrim, this time on PC (played both on Xbox) with the all the mods ofcourse...especially Morrowind looks like totally different game with all the graphical mods on!

  • Surprised this comment is gone, but this music goes amazingly well with Rainy Mood .com. Almost would think you're playing Elder Scrolls right now.

  • This is from morrowind not from oblivion thumbs it up then people will see it .

  • @IbanezRobol no its from oblivion you must be confused.

  • @IbanezRobol NO your right !! xD its true its from morrowind... or part of it.

  • :) love this song

  • If the soundtrack for Skyrim is somehow not as epic as the one from Oblivion, I'm going to:

    1. Hunt down the complete Jeremy Soule - Oblivion Soundtrack on CD or mp3

    2. Move the music slider down to zero/off in the Skyrim game menu

    3. Play the Oblivion soundtrack while playing Skyrim

    4. Enjoy winning!

  • @StealTheShow23 From what i've been hearing.. its just as or more epic than the one found in oblivion.

  • @StealTheShow23 Will you marry me?

  • @ghostie45 As long as you are wearing an Amulet of Mara, and have enough money to buy us a non-glitched version of Hjerim in Windhelm. Then yes, I will marry you. Also, you can't block me by standing in doorways. I want that in the prenup!

  • @StealTheShow23 no need to worry about that, skyrim's soundtrack is even better than oblivion's I feel. But you probably already know that by now lol

  • @StealTheShow23 you can grab the music folder from within your oblivion data folder. It has all the mp3's.

  • @Freelancerk1bbles I'm assuming you mean for the pc version. Alas, I am console guy, so I don't believe I have that option. Thanks anyway though. Greenhelm64 is right, Elder Scrolls fans are much nicer than your standard YouTube rabble. Also, I've been trying to give the Skyrim score a chance. It's good, but it's just not moving me the same way that Oblivion's does. I'll give it another month, then I will begin execution of my afore mentioned master plan. P.S. Skyrim = Best RPG of all time!! :D

  • @StealTheShow23 The Witcher 2 is a better rpg in my opinion. but you're a console gamer, so you haven't played it yet... it comes out on xbox 360 later this year.

  • @StealTheShow23 Fortunately, the Skyrim soundtrack is even more epic than Oblivion's.

  • @taitai907 You're kidding, right? That soundtrack belongs in "Veggie Tales: Pirate Adventure". It sucks.

  • @StealTheShow23 Have you done it yet? cause it sure aint even COMPARABLE.... :(

  • @MrDallt i completely agree it's a cleaner beautiful world whiich i would much rather live in :)

  • @MrDallt not longer... skyrim will be the best game which ever made!!!!

  • Thank you so much for uploading these compilations. To say they made my day would be a gross understatement.

    Big thumbs up!

  • I really enjoy your oblivion compositions, they are on continuous replay when I study!! is there anyway that I may obtain an mp3 copy?

  • @LVLFLV

Yeah me too haha i'm studying right now

  • i always wanted to move daggerwall there to morrowind then id go to tamriel when i would be hero of tamriel i think i could go north to skyrim ;D

  • @MrDallt i wish :P!

  • @MrDallt I disagree, Oblivion is fun, but it was completely half-assed for what it could have been.

  • @TheDrSluggerBro the thing about oblivion is the so called hours of gameplay. sure the main quest and the side quest were fun but mostly it was just walking around in dungeons and killing things :P i wish they wouldve put more purpose in dungeon exploring

  • your videos with the elder scrolls music are great, they are getting me through my revision for finals lol

  • The game to end all games. Well hopefully not.

  • @Protojoe912 i just make a new char and do something else. I have a mage, a quest dude, and a merchant so far. Going to make a muderer, a ranger, and an imperial guard.

  • @ firecrab15

Thanks for posting these...it's made my day! :D

  • morrowind has the more mystic score, and thats what I prefer.

  • Skyrim will have such an amazing soundtrack!

  • 1:58 best song in the game

  • @penutk wrong.

  • Man I sure hope Skyrim will have an awesome sountrack just like the previous elder scrolls!

  • @RydeMusic

Of course, it basically has the same music as Morrowind and Oblivion

  • Cannot wait for Skyrim..

  • IS THERE AN MP3 FOR THIS?

  • @UcantResistClicking0 torrent..(I bought the game and will buy skyrim)

if you have the game, you can also find it in the folder, not hard to find

  • Its not just a game you can"t call it a game

Its a virtual world when you play this game

You are sucked in this world.

  • @0Bart043 I completely agree.

  • I listen to morro/obli music almost daily and the skyrim wait is way too long man

  • @wixard200: I'd rather wait then have it released sooner and have it all bugged out and all crappy looking and unfinished, let the developers work at it to make it pixel-perfect, and then enjoy.

  • @wixard200 I feel your pain brother. I keep rewatching the Skyrim trailer thinking that it might come sooner if I keep watching the trailer.

  • oblivion was the best game id ever played a couple of years ago when i bought it, and was up until only very recently. I cant believe how long it took for me to get bored of this fantastic game, theres just so much to it - the quests, armour, weapons, striving to improve your skills and but more spells, etc the main quest was amazing and the graphics were great for its time. highly recommended for anyone who hasnt played it yet. Awesome game. Cant wait for Skyrim. btw, check out my vids =)

  • thank you thank you for what you did hear... keep making themed comps and i will keep comoing. going by the house of -dungeon compilation- next!

  • so calming plus rainymood lol

  • 6:12 Peace of Akatosh sings to the core of my soul, if there is anything beyond peace, serenity, euphoria, it would be this part of the song, purely heavenly. Thank you for uploading this beautiful piece of music.

  • this is peace on elders scrolls

  • So Epic!!! I really get lost into Oblivion every time I hear this xD

  • Best song is at 6:10

  • i actually found it in a dumpster, can u believe it? went to throw the trash, and when i looked in the container i said wtf,and picked it up xD worked perfectly, box wasnt even opened...collector's edition too.someone was sure mourning it xD

  • The Main Quest's so EPIC,but doesn't bring nothing new to the game kind.

  • He cuts off at my favorite part of the song at 6:05 :(

  • Man i'm glad to see this guy again. I thought he fell off the face of the earth after composing the Secret of Evermore soundtrack. Looks like it was just me who was misinformed.

  • this music + rainymood. com = win

  • Think for a minute how much work into building every flower petal, every musical note, every beautiful moment of Cyrodil. And then...you shall appreciate Oblivion.

  • shit... i love this!

  • Oblivion is the best

  • @XxGreedxX22 Well i just found out it's Xbox 360 compatible

  • I have an Xbox 360, so I can't play Morrowind :( Sounds fun though.

  • @MrFirewall597 dude you can play morrowind on the 360 i do it all the time

  • i would play this game just for the music

  • For a moment I was in another world, some kind realm of serenity. Too bad when the track ends I'm in reality, thanks for submitting this music from my favorite video games, time to wake up now...

  • Between this and Fallout 3, they are my favourite games on PS3.

  • If my damn Xbox didn't break down I'd be smoking weed and playing this game right now. Fuck you Bill Gates

  • 6:30 , song kicks you in the balls, makes you go "whoa, am I really hearing this beautiful piece?"

  • Do you Free walk in Oblivion? or is it scene based?

  • @toadmaster4 It's entirely open-world, meaning every quest is taken at your own pace and you can wander and take as much time as your lovely heart desires.

  • Sounds fun! So is it a target based game? or do you just click for Auto-attack like in Guild Wars/ Work of Warcraft?

  • @toadmaster4 Well actually the game isn't autotarget or anything near those games.

    his game is completly realtime.

Let me example with CoD (forgive me)

In that game yyou aim at your opponent and press a button to shoot.

And he choots when you press the button.

there is no waiting time to throw grenades and such.

So in oblivion you aim at your opponent and press abutton to attack.

And you do it at the same time as you press it.

And you can cast as many spells as you want as long as you

  • @SBH95 have enough magicka or whatever it's called.

I know my example is a bit crappy but play the game to se what i mean.^o^

    I

  • @toadmaster4 The amazing game named Oblivion is not describable with any words. It is a game of its own. Your second life! Train your skills and me a master at Magicks! Test your strength at the Imperial City Arena and become the bravest warrior! Or train outside of the Inn of Ill Omen on the road south of the Imperial City until you become a professional archer! Hunt for deer, Mythical creatures, EVEN RIDE A UNICORN!!! Many adventures and more await you in Cyrodiil!!

  • @PvMiZLAMiCKz

Very well put!! :D I've never been so completely taken over by a game..and I'm not a big game player by any stretch of the imagination...your 2nd life it truly is!

  • @galaxysurfer Thanks :D Im addicted to it... LOL I maxed out all my major skills yesterday :D

  • @PvMiZLAMiCKz

    Excellent! Wel done you!

...now, if I can only get my hands on another Xbox...(and a TV) I can start it all over again!

  • @galaxysurfer Another Xbox all right..I just got my red ring of death...

  • @galaxysurfer download it?? for pc

  • @toadmaster4 When you start out, You can choose from various races, each with their own special abilities and powers! Their list ranges from Orc's to Elves! Choose a birthsign and a Class and become Tamriels most brave knight/mage/archer! The guilds are just amazing! Peaceful! Life Changing! Stores and shops around every city! Dreadful creatures waiting inside every fort wall! Swords and armor of various metals at your disposal! Do anything! I hope i summed up the game and i hope u enjoy it ^_^

  • @firecrab15 Thats why i love this game it lets you do what you want when you want and you have a hell of alot of fun doing it

  • @firecrab15 Except on the vampire quest in bruma, you got a 24hr time limit on that! :o

  • @toadmaster4 it is the ultimate free walk game. I have owned the game since it came out, and I still can turn it on, walk around, and explore some new shit. definately one of the best open world rpg's ever made.Ever.

  • @toadmaster4 It's truly a magnificent game, dude. You can get it for a cheap price these days if you're afraid of buying at a high price.

  • @DoctorObviously [Resident Evil Voice] Ah, I'll buy it at a high price!!

  • @toadmaster4 yes you can go anywhere. there are no cut scenes in the game, every plot point is told in real time. in skyrim, even conversations you overhear in the background will be included in your journal if they include quest information.

  • @toadmaster4 I know you asked the question months ago, but oblivon is like a world and you are placed in that world. Now you can go wherever and do whatever you desire. Go swimming aimlessly in ocean and u might find a sunken ship, go wandering n the forest nad you might find a beutiful vista etc :D

  • @toadmaster4

free walk..and there seems to be hundreds of side missions that you can play without completing the main game first. Honestly, it could take months to complete it entirely (assuming you don't play on it for 10 hours per day that is..and even then I'm not so sure it still wouldn't last that long)!

  • @toadmaster4 Using an expression from Dragon Age: Origins, "Elder scrolls is the Paragon of RPGs".

  • @toadmaster4 I spent over 300 game days just roleplaying. I was a merchant, and no fast traveling, and no loading old saves if I do something wrong, Lots of fun... At first. I got bored and then I went and started doing all sorts of random quests.

  • Firecrab thanks so much for uploading. This music really soothes the soul!

  • @firecrab15

The music is beautiful and the order it's in is excellent. Very well done.

  • i was hearing this on my ipod and playing bioshock i like doing that

  • There is new game that is coming out, it is called project offset. We got to convince them to bring Jeremy soule in. It would really be the next Elder scrolls.

  • I like Morrowind more, it involves the brains more since its gfx are not perfect, and you need to read the text instead of hearing half-soap opera level voiceovers, which Oblivion has in vas quantities. Its the magic that Morrowind brings into the eye of the beholder

  • @firecrab15 Well....just let him be, you shouldn't argue with his beliefs

  • @firecrab15 The time period of Oblivion is fictional

It's half a centry after Morrowind I believe, it does seem that way

The time period in Oblivion isn't that horrible, at least they're not dealing with slavery anymore, but now there's oblivion itself to face

  • This game and his music turned me into the total nolife I am today, please stop making so beautiful and immersive universe where a human can fall easily in :(

  • Sunrise of Flutes sounds amazing. The memories, I get goose bumps everytime I hear it.

  • who the hell is saying these games are set on earth? crap the internet attracts so many idiots

  • The great thing about morrowind is that it isnt human history its different, so keep on dreaming.

    ^___^

  • Jeremy Soule

  • 6:10 my favorite XD

  • They're obviously civilized people because they have police, politics, and hotels. They probably had music too. It's not like people don't get robbed, ravaged, and murdered in these times. Actually those times might have been a little nicer if you stayed within city walls.

  • They didn't have magic back then either. It's fictional. That's the point. I'm talking about the fictional world of this game. I thought we all were. Even so, I have read history. It depends on who you were back then. For some people life was a big ass party.

  • @Kazilliams2021 I'd like to be those people... But the palace in the Shivering Isles would be nice too...

  • @Kazilliams2021 They do have music, there's instruments like lutes in morrowind :P

  • @R0BB091 I said magic lol

  • @Kazilliams2021 'They probably had music too'

I was replying to that :P

  • @R0BB091 OHHH lmao

  • @Kazilliams2021: *stretches* "Alright, time to go out in a little country side walk.." *10 min later* "AAAAAAAH WOLF!!" *dies*

Yeah...Stay within city walls if you don't have a sword with you. Rofl.

  • my favorite is Minstrels lament and watchmens ease.

  • I wish I lived back in these times ;_;

  • @monkeyrune98 hey at least we still have living through fallout 3 to look forward to :p

  • I've said this on the last 2 volumes but Oblivion is my favorite game in the world everything about it is beautiful.

  • @Hbkstheman i agree this game is calm and soothing in a way and fun to play
