In my beliefs Bad things happen because we have something to learn from "Everything happens for a reason." Most beliefs have same meanings just explained differently, I don't believe that we should be praising just one god as we as humans share many gods, we should stop trying to be different because we are all one. Evil / Good are mere perception. Bitter / Sweet are as Good / Evil. Sins are Evil although evil is only a perception, so sins are a mere perception. People will be punished on perception alone. Allah will brainwash all in death no matter how you live. Contrast is pointless although mandatory and that is wise. Obedience is mandatory and that is not open to discussion. Suffering is only perception. Kids die to test your resolve.

No, because with the Catholics it was obedience to the Church, but Muslim is surrender to God alone, not to no man or creation, not to a religious hierarchy or to an establishment..there is obedience to the state, otherwise comes anarchy, but on the other hand, the obedience is in that which is good and not in that which is bad. The concept of brainwashing is subjective anyway, every side in history has used it to attack people who have a different paradigm than them.

Because we humans wanted to be like God, knowing good and Evil. Thus God gave us freewill. It means that if we want to hurt somebody, God won't stop us. He'll let us face the consequences of our actions, so we learn by ourselves why must we flee from evil, and choose goodness; not because we have to obey Him like slaves, but because we have learned the tragic consequences of evil from our own experience.But, God is merciful! He limited our learning this truth to no more than 120 years!
