@Disguiseduser Soft reset. If you're playing a game that supports soft reset, just old down the L R start and wait a few seconds. This is better than turning the system off to reboot the game, as constant power cycling may affect the system's life span. The best option would be to reset the game, but the DS has no dedicated reset button. Luckily, if your game supports it, you can "soft reset" the game and return to the title screen without turning the system off.

In my soul silver box i have about 50 shinies. all legit. The max number of Srs ive had to do was 10,566 for regigigas... i got my shiny rayquaza in emerald in just 57 srs and shiny groudon in just 507!

Oh-My- Ohmyohmyohmy! Too many soft resets! wow... your amazing at being so pacient! I could NEVER do that! wow just wow oh and by the way soft resets are when you press R1, L1, start and select on you DS at the same time. But make sure you save near the legendary! It should show up shiny when you see it first not when you go into battle... i'm sure i've never tested it before. Good Luck Guys!

So that means that shiny appears always for exampe 20.64s when you start your game.

That's why shinies appeared so fast, you hit your shiny frame.
