Green-screen and post-production sound editing.

They recorded him standing in the field, and someone tells him when to drop down as if he was hit with an object. After that, they have someone with a shovel run in front of the camera with a green-screen behind him, and attack the air with the shovel. Then the green-screen video has the green removed and feathered, and overlaps the video. Then, with proper timing with both video and sound, this video is made.

Not very easy. ;)
