I absolutely love this clip!!! As an art major & Fashion student - it an aspiring grasp of knowledge these prints exist!! Thanks for putting this clip together :D
According to what I know, the Wu dialect spoken in Shanghai stem from the Ancient Miao dialect. The Miao people fled the city into the mountains for protection during many warring periods.
Thanks for this remake of Ayouduo's song. I like both versions, this one is much clearer than the last one. I have downloaded this song and put on my iPod to listen on the road. By the way, did you use the software I recommended?
I love these art pieces, especially the ones with the Lusheng instrument. "Lu'sen" is how we call it and it definitely sounds like a foreign word to my language. Any how, beautiful pics btw and keep up the great work =)

When were these paintings made? Some of them look like they're centuries old.

Sounds like Shanghai dialect.
Miao folks used to live there then got sick of the city slickers and all moved away. I'd do the same if I have a place to go in the mountains. ^_^.

Thank you Mey. In Chinese, it's Lu Sheng. In Hmong, it pronounce Cha Kleng.
