  • Dude you are DUMB, that is not the bridge form Stand By Me film, I grew up in Burney and used to party on and below the bridge where they filmed the movie. A friend of mine broke her back jumping off the bridge and landing wrong in the lake, her name was Shanda for those of you who know her and the real story

  • this is not it. the stand by me bridge is in burney falls. i saw it and there's also pine trees

  • lol run fatass run XD thumbs up if you remeba that part...

  • wow what a rip stand by me was on lake briton out of burney & burney fall park

  • Was that really the train tracks from stand by me?

WOW I wanna go there to see them!!!

  • HELL YEAH

  • there was no railing on the side of the tracks and theres plenty of room on the catwalk

  • there was no railing on the side of the tracks

  • WTF DO U MAN U WUASNT AWARE?? THAT JUS PROVED U WENT TO A RANDOM TRIN RACKANDSAIT O THIS IS TH STAND BY ME TRAIN TRACK

    FUCKIN RETARD

  • Not the bridge

  • sorry wrong tracks mountain mans are the real ones

  • The actual Stand By Me train track is in Burney, California over Lake Britton. It looks similar though

  • Yeah Stand by me was not filmed here. There are a few clips on youtube of the actual bridge and what it looks like today. It looks exactly the same as it did 25 years ago when they film Stand by me!

  • There Wasnt A Sidewalk on the bridge,If there was, they wouldve walken on that

  • that's not the bridge

  • I find it romantic to walk on a railroad track, but it's safer to do it on a abandoned one.

  • shoooooooooooooooo i will not try that

  • Why where you up there if you knew you were going to have to pay a fine of $200?

  • @jbeast181 You only pay if you get caught.

  • Wow! ._.

  • Sorry to burst your bubble but that is not the "stand by me" train track at all, doesnt even look like it. The one they filmed at is McCloud River Railroad's Lake Britton Bridge in Burney Falls

Mountainman530`s video is of the real bridge

  • @cayote64 Sorry to burst YOUR bubble but to me these *are* the Stand By Me train tracks. Have a little imagination, people.

  • @papatoony Well if to you they "are" the tracks to you but not actually in real life then my bubbles not been burst, my point still stands it is not the train tracks from the film

  • @papatoony imagine all you want...doesn't make it the real bridge!! and it is NOT the right bridge

  • @cayote64 Thank you so much for telling me. I was not aware!

  • omg aren't u scared up there?!

  • its anothet place! real Stand by me bridge here watch?v=Z3Y5eI6jh84&feature=related

  • ya thats not the train tracks, the train tracks from the movie had a bigger bridge, one of the vids on the side has a guy on the real bridge.

  • TRAAAAIN

  • @insaneme92 Ahhhh Ssh!T

  • if they will fine you 200 bucks then why di dyou post this on youtube?

  • Train!!!!!

  • ur a geek

  • That's not it.

There was more room between sleepers.

  • it looks kinda old

  • OK, guys, this is not the bridge from Stand By Me.

There is plenty of room on that catwalk to miss the train.

But a train cannot sneak up on you as in the movie. You will hear it for miles before it gets to you, even a cripple would be able to get to one side or the other if there were no catwalk.

  • yes but in the film there is a bank of trees and a cliff either side of the track coming round a corner this can signifficantly block the sound of the train and with it being behind you, you don't pay attention that much to sound that is behind you

  • @luvlethr dude, the catwalk wasnt there in the movie

  • @luvlethr right on man, this is not the mcloud river railroads bridge, seems like some bridge in new england

  • so that's really the stand by me train tracks? that's pretty cool!

  • No this isn't the bridge were they filmed stand by me. Type it in here on youtube and you'll find a video of the real bridge.

  • oh. sad face.

  • You know, trespassing on railroad tracks is incredibally dangerous and stupid. In addition, it is illegal. Stay safe, stay off the tracks.

    Operation Lifesaver: Look, Listen, Live.

  • What fun is life if you don't do things that are incredibly dangerous and stupid?

  • So, you're telling me that you can't do ANYTHING fun that isn't dangerous? I sure can.... Laws and rules are meant to PROTECT you and others, not make life no fun. Think about it....

  • Jesus, are you Smokey the bear?

  • Wow, smokey the bear is for fire prevention. All I'm saying is that there is a reason that you shouldn't walk on tracks and if you're too stupid to figure that out, then there is no hope for you....

  • Well thank you for your concern. I'm pushing 30 and I'm still alive so I must be doing something right ;)

  • Hehe. Just a friendly warning coming from a guy who has had a few friends killed by trains.

  • ur doing somehting a jackass would do accually

  • There is no fun in that. Doing stupid and dangerous shit is all there is to really have fun. But, only in my opinion. That's because I normally do things like that. (:

  • HE IS A FAKE, the real bridge is here....This was shot on the McCloud River Railroad's Lake Britton Bridge in Burney Falls State Park. The railroad passes over the river just east of where Highway 89 does.

  • Wee-eew! Wee-eew! The internet police is here! Oh shit, you caught me!

  • don't be a jackass.

  • i know it was filmed in 1986 and it was many years ago, but it looks so different from the movie. can you film it from different angels.

  • because thats not the bridge go search it and youle see other videos filmed on the ACTUAL bridge :P

  • hey man, where is this....this is awesome

  • that is not the bridge the Stand by me train chase was filmed on, the real one is in north east california, on the Mccloud river rail road

  • are you for sure, post a link

  • This was shot on the McCloud River Railroad's Lake Britton Bridge in Burney Falls State Park. The railroad passes over the river just east of where Highway 89 does.

  • That it was. And the locomotive was #25, which ran it's last trip over the line last November.

  • i was awaiting for the train to come!

  • Where exactly are these train tracks located?

  • 41 00.53N, 121 37.07 W

    Just south of Cayton California

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, but the mock track had to be based of of something. They were probably based of these train tracks!

  • It was not filmed on a mock track, it was actually filmed on and around that bridge.

  • LOL I never claimed these are the real Stand By Me train tracks. It's just a place I've always liked to go and pretend ;) I most def dream of going to the real ones though...that's one thing I've always wanted to do before I die. I'm jealous of you for going...was it beautiful there!?

  • then why did you call the clip "Stand By Me Train Tracks?"

  • 'Cause I felt like it.

  • Well, if you want to go to the real tracks and stop fucking with people who want to see the real one on youtube....go here
