I just started straightening my short hair to get rid of waviness particularly in the front, but I can't seem to get the hair straight. Should I just keep straightening the same spots and take my time until I get the effect or will that burn the hair? Or is there something I'm doing wrong? It seems like the waves of my hair just change direction rather than actually getting straightened out.

@Zenith0106 Paul Mitchell gets a bit greasy, I haven't perfected using it perhaps I'm applying too much but if you want to stay on the safe side try using a clay

so before i straighten i blowdry my hair up like the way he talks about in his other vid, but after i straighten my hair goes down again so theres no point. would it work if i straightened first, then applied heat protectant until my hair is damp, then blowdry up, would that work?

@popol7ik you gotta have dry hair when straightening, and if you blowdry your hair again after strraightening there will be no difference. what i do is i blowdry my hair upwards, so i get more volume and control, then straighten

l'oreal studioline Mineral Fx sculpting paste comes in a white and green container thingy,

I use it for longer hair now ( looking to buy some gatsby later on haha:p ) but I bet it works on short hair just fine:) You should try if you have the money haha!

I like Chi's straightener cause it heats up pretty quick and for heat protectant I like to use heat spray by Frieda. Depending on your hair length and thickness factor. I recommend purple rubber gatsby wax for those with lots of hair such as the guy in this video. Pink for those who want a really sharp spikey look or short hair.

@riceisdrug Try applying a very dry hair product for instance a matt powder or anything NOT a wax..... clay or powder works really well in this case! hope this helps you out!!

You look very good thanks for sharing :) I recommend the hair straightener I use, it's the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up really quick and leaves hair soft, shiny and super straight. I bought it at safrons. And Pro Naturals Moroccan Oil hair treatment with heat protector to avoid hair damages :) I bought them at safrons.

@pandaweige The one I used was Giovanni, unfortunately most of the serums I have used are relatively similar, but I really like the fructis one just because of the smell
