I always liked these guys, but this track reminds me of the vocals of T Bone Burnett. Based on the 'sound" these great musicians had the band name didn't do them justice in my opinion. I hear them in a Del Lords, Del-Fuegos, Rank & File genre. House of Whiskey would have been closer. At least that would have given me a better hint at what to expect. I thought they were a band like the Cramps. It was their LP Tantilla that made me suspect they were otherwise.
I have been looking for this album for so long!! I saw these guys back in the 80's and had the Monkey on a Chain Gang cassette for the longest time!
Please, please post more tracks from this album! This brings back great memories of a great show!
