if these are to be the next Corollas, they surely wont help the ugliness the current ones have. They arent ugly, but they're most like a previous generation of a Suzuki Forenza. Not up to date. And in no way can it beat the Civic or the Sentra, though it is bigger. I'll stick to tC or Civic as my favorites.

Well, I heard it was because, in Australia the Corolla Wagon's from the past, never made enough profit to benefit it being made here.
Sounds about right, since I hardly ever see a wagon version of the previous 'rolla's around.

Here, in Brazil, they sold the fielder until 2008, then finished. I agree with you, the wagon is much better than sedan.

I do like the 'automatic' fold down rear seats! As it is, it looks like the typical hatch-sedan-wagon variants will be produced...
