  • and almost drops the nice marker off the table

  • they have a skip add button. : D<3

  • love your show man you really do the best job of describing the subject at hand... i have a question about the a1 fly is their any difference between the gothic, cobra, joy devision flys or is it just cosmetics?

  • nice song at the beginning KORN is awesome

  • Dude is that Gavin

  • Just to clear this up, you don't ever need to take out the reg spool or board for general maintenance. All you need is to clean the gun breech and bolt and then put a few drops of oil in the bottomline ASA and dryfire into a towel or similar for say 10-15 shots. That's it.

Disassembling anything more you only need to do if the gun has a problem or say once or twice a year of use.

  • what type of oil do you use?

  • Any pb oil works. WDP love juice of cours, but I often use PMI oil or that eclipse stuff. Basically any PB-specific oil.

Don't even use God Cup in pb guns though, it's mineral based and will make some rubber seals swell over time.

  • kk, Ive got some tri-flo so im all sweet

  • can u use a myth reg? not low presure, not high preasure.

  • Yes, you can use Myths on Angels as long as they are mid pressure.

  • high pressure fucks up the gun for angels...low pressure works the best and mid is OK

  • So does that mean u have to use a low pressure tank on it as well or only a low pressure reg?

  • tank...like i said high pressure fucks with the gun...and mid is ok

  • Either works actually. You can switch the front/inline reg to LP (CP or eq) with the use of an adapter for the A1 or just switch it right out on an A1 FLY (comes with the adapter).

Or use LP or MP output air tanks.

Or do the LP mod on the front reg.

  • you not getting what im saying...maybe to you it could be easy like any other gun...but to most people it is difficult because there is multiple parts that if you lose you will be screwed and if you break something...then you will need to find a place that carries them...and that could take some time

  • Last time I fully stripped an EGO or DM 8 they actually had a total of more small vital parts than an A1. Full strip time is about the same too. Since you must be counting ever little nut ant bolt.

There is zero need to take out any small parts from an A1 to do general maintenance and the gun is designed specifically so you won't need to do that more than like once a year of use. The tradeoff for this longevity is that the few times you do it's a little more complicated. But no, not that much.

  • Look, the A1 FLY comes with one of the very best and easiest to follow manuals in the business. How hard can it be to follow a simple step-by-step with photos showing every little thing you need to do? I mean really? You don't even need to be able to read to follow them. Only the Eclipese guns get as good manuals. And in some ways EGOs are more complex, especially board settings. People seem to manage that just fine. Because of the manual.

  • maybe the fly...but im saying the normal a1's...the older version of the fly...egos are not hard to adjust the settings are you high???how the fuck is it hard it has a lcd screen to tell you where you are...its not step by step by the way...it shows pictures and does not give you a real describtion

  • No, I'm not the "high" person here, not by a long shot.

A1 FLY manual. There's a step-by-step. It could also be downloaded separately for the A1 before the A1 FLY release.

    Get your facts right.

EGO display settings are different names and different procedure than any other guns out there with or without a digital display. Not hard -for me. But for those who pick it up for the first time it isn't all that intuitive.

  • ok first i never said that the flys came out before the a1's...if you can read i said "but im saying the normal a1's...the older version of the fly"...thats copied right out of the comment...and yes it does have "words"but they are little captions next to the pictures...so yes, you are high

  • It consists of photos of every step and clear instructions of every step. To anyone but you that makes it a typical step-by-step.

No drugs need to be involved to see that, just common sense.

  • hey mike

im getting an angel a1 fly, do u think i should get it? cuz some guys are saying its a good gun, do u agree?

  • i own a fly and i do recommend you to buy one. Awesome design magno valve witch makes the gun extremely accurate. extremely good quality and it weights alot less than the usual a1 and much more. I do really recommend it

  • It's a great gun. It can shoot the most fragile paint, can be set very low valve pressure so it's quiet, has very little kick and is gas efficient.

But get the gun YOU want, not whatever other people tell you to get.

Also, I suer hope TechPB will review the A1 FLY also sometime soon. It's even better in many ways compared to the A1. More user friendly and much more efficient.

  • sorry bro but that's not a fly

  • good catch

  • Sweet, finally a good video about disambly of the Angel. Thanks Mike and Gaven!

  • lol miss mike!!

  • he must be nervous to drop the gun in the begining

  • He might have just simply even been nervous being filmed while doing maintenance and the whole tear down of the marker.

  • yea angels are extremly hard to take apart there is so many little peices to lose and peices inside peices to get...its very hard...ive been lucky and took my friends apart and after 2 days of tinkering found the problem and put it back together...and it works fine now

  • You do know the complete assembly and disassembly is in the manual. With pictures and information text? How hard is that really?

Also, as I said, most users will never have to, unless say you'r re-annodizing the gun. And for that disassembly there are no easy guns.

  • no there are some "easy guns" to take apart...angels just have little peices that most other guns dont have...i know its in the manuel but its not the easy to understand...everyone that has had an angel would understand

  • What parts?

To really take any high performance gun apart COMPLETELY (like for anno jobs) to every nut and bolt really is the same work. Try it and you'll see. For general maintenance an A1 just needs oil in the ASA -clealy less than any spool valve gun. As for an EGO, it is easier to take out the RAM parts, but it's also easier for dirt and debris to get in there so it needs it more often. The rest is the same, takes the same amount of time as long as you're just familiar with both guns.

  • good god you lisin to good music.
