heh no mate. The bird, as I look back on it, was a mistake, it was meant to act like a "mcguffin", and is just leading the viewer to the important stuff, like the water and the girl. I don't think people got that, and I can understand why.

I like the ironies created throughout the film. Even in the end,you didn't fail to surprise me. Fantastic! I first didn't like the tear coming out of the girl's eyes at the end. I thought it was too... rude, and cheesy, not fitting for a film that aims for such dept. However, once I see it drop on the flower, I thought "well, the last twist saves it all." I would suggest presenting the girl's reaction toward her father's dealth a little more subtle, instead of just "he died, so she cries."

really nice, great atmosphere, it creates emotion. just the animation itself, the movement isn't flawless wich doesn't do you film justice. it feels like 'cut outs' a bit too much sometimes. but overall I really like it!
