Say: "Verily those who invent a lie concerning Allah will not succeed. This world's portion (will be theirs), then unto Us is their return. Then, We make them taste a dreadful doom because they used to disbelieve."
For years, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani attributed outrageous lies to Allah(SWT): he claimed to be Mehdi, the Promised Messiah, a reincarnation of Muhammad(SAW), a new improved Prophet, Hindu Lord, and a manifestation of God. He said he was in direct communication with Allah and claimed that his revelations were divine in nature. It is fitting that Allah(SWT) made his death a testimony to his falsehood. His sudden death proved his following prophecies to have been untrue:
1) His prophecy that he (Mirza) will live to be 80 or more years old;
(He died when he was only 68 year old.)
2) His prophecy that he would marry Muhammadi Begum, before his death;
(He never did marry Muhammadi Begum.
3) The claim (and Mubahala challenge) that Moulvi Sanaullah of Amristar, his arch opponent who had openly called him a liar and an impostor, will die before him;
4) His prophecy that Dr. Abdul Hakim, one of his opponents who had called him a liar during an open debate, will die within Mirza's life time;
(he said "The liar will die first". But, Mirza died first!)
5) The prophecy (and Mubahala challenge) that Mr. Abdullah Atham, a Christian who had debated with Mirza Ghulam and put him to shame, will die before him;
(Mirza had said: "the liar will die first" - Yet, Mirza died first!)
Indeed, Mirza Ghulam's death was a sign of Allah(SWT)'s displeasure with him. He died from the disease he feared the most in a wretched condition and in utter disgrace, as he himself had stated:
"To turn out a liar in his own prophecy is biggest disgrace of disgraces."(Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 15, P. 382)
Let's review the record of Mirza's death as recounted by his closest followers and actual witnesses to his death.
Bashir Ahmad, the son of Mirza Ghulam, wrote in his biography:
"My mother informed me that 'the first attack of looseness of bowels upon the Promised Messiah occurred when he was at his dining room table. Later, I started pressing his legs and he lay in comfort and slept and soon I too slept. After a short while, he again felt the call of nature and he used the bathroom a couple of times without awakening me, After this he felt very weak; he shook me up and laid down on my bed. -
- I recommenced pressing. In a few minutes he told me to go to bed but I refused and continued to press. Once again he had an urge and, being too weak to go to the lavatory, I made arrangement for him close to the bed. He sat down and relieved himself. Next, he laid himself back on my bed and I started pressing again. -
- His weakness grew intense; he had another motion, accompanied this time by vomiting. This paralyzed him so much that when trying to lay back on the bed, he fell on his back and hit his head on the bed post. His condition alarmed me...'."(Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 1, P. 11-12; Sirat-ul-Mehdi, P.109)
Mirza Ghulam's father in law, Mir Nasir Nawab, recorded in his autobiography:
"The night his holiness fell ill, I was sleeping in my room. When his illness grew severe, they woke me up. I went over to his holiness and found him in great pain. He addressed me saying: 'I have been stricken with cholera.' After this, he did not utter a single intelligible and coherent word till he died on Monday, after ten O'clock in the morning."(Hayat-i-Nasir, P. 14)
Mirza Ghulam used to say that cholera or plague is the sign of Allah(SWT)'s wrath on mankind for their wrong doing! It is fitting that his last words were the admission that he had been stricken with the disease he was so fearful of. The witnesses present at his bed side recorded:
"As his condition became precarious, we stayed by him and continued treatment, but his pulse stopped by 10:15 A.M., on the 26th May, 1908 he breathed his last."(Al-Hakam, Mary 28, 1908)
We can not imagine what Mirza Ghulam might have felt when the hour of death approached and Allah(SWT) shut his mouth and tongue so that he could neither repent (proclaim Kalima) nor utter any more lies.
And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah, or says: "I have received inspiration," whereas he is not inspired in anything; and who says, "I will reveal the like of what Allah has revealed." And if you could but see when the wrong-doers are in the agonies of death,-
- while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your soul! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allah other than the truth. And you used to reject His signs (revelations) with disrespect!"
Mirza Ghulam's death irrefutably proves that the prophecies he attributed to Allah(SWT) were fabricated by him and his associates. The irony is that, to impress his followers, he had proclaimed his prophecies to be the ultimate sign of his truthfulness and stated:
"To Judge my truthfulness or lies, there is no better test than my prophecies."(Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 19, P. 288)
"If what I have said does not happen exactly, I am prepared for every punishment. My face should be blackened and I should be hanged. I swear by the Mighty Allah that what I have said will happen. It must happen. -
- It is possible that the earth may be changed for another earth and the sky may be replaced by another sky, but it is not possible for God's word to change -- prepare for me a cross if my falsehood is exposed and curse me more than the Satans and the evil persons are cursed."(Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 6, P. 293; Jang-i-Maqaddas, P. 188)

O people! Muhammad has no sons among ye men, but verily, he is the Apostle of God and the last in the line of Prophets. And God is Aware of everything.
Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Muslim Scholars, since the time of our beloved Prophet(SAW), have correctly understood this verse to indicate that no new Prophet or Messenger will be sent to humanity until the day of judgment.

Numerous verses of the Quran indicate that the teachings of Islam have been completed, perfected, and preserved and have been meant universally for all the Worlds. Such statements eliminate every reason for which a new prophet may need to be commissioned to humanity. In this regard, we can briefly mention:
And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) save as a bringer of good tidings and a warner unto all mankind; but most of mankind do not know.
Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided."
If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).
The following portion of the last revealed verse of the Holy Quran is also a testimony that no Apostle with new instructions or interpretations of the holy Quran will ever need to be sent to the humanity:
This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.
The following verses, which appear at the very beginning of the holy Quran, indicate the qualities of the individuals, who will benefit from the holy Quran, and have been given an assurance of salvation. In its concise and precise form, Quran makes clear that these include revelations up to the time of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), and precludes the possibility of any future revelations, prophets, or religions.
This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who fear Allah, believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, give charity from what We have provided for them, and believe in the Revelation sent to you (O Muhammad) and before you, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who shall be successful.
Many verses of the Holy Quran allude to the special wisdom bestowed on the Prophet Muhammad(SAW) to understand and explain the revelations included in the Holy Quran. For example, in verse 4 of chapter 14 of the Quran, we read: -
- And We never sent a messenger save with the language of his folk, that he [Hazrat Muhammad(SAW)] might make (the message) clear for them. Then Allah sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will. He is the Mighty, the Wise.
The following teachings of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) deal with the issue of Finality of Prophethood. As apparent from the references, these Ahadith are authentic and have been recorded by many scholars and reported by numerous companions of the Prophet(SAW).
My position in relation to the prophets who came before me can be explained by the following example: A man erected a building and adorned this edifice with great beauty, but he left an empty niche, in the corner where just one brick was missing. People looked around the building and marveled at its beauty, but wondered why a brick was missing from that niche? -
4) The whole earth has been made the place of worship for me and it has become the means of purification for me also. In other words, in my religion, offering of prayers is not confined to certain specified places of worship. Prayers can be offered at any place over the earth. And in case water is not available, it is lawful for my people to perform ablutions with earth (Tayammum) and to cleanse themselves with the soil, if water for bathing is scarce.
I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am the effacer and infidelity shall be erased through me; I am the assembler. People shall be assembled on Doomsday after my time. And I am the last in the sense that no prophet shall succeed me.

God Almighty hath sent unto the world no apostle who did not warn his people about the appearance of Dajjal (Anti-Christ, but Dajjal did not appear in their time). I am the last in the line of Prophets and you are the last community of believers. Without doubt, then, Dajjal shall appear from amongst you.
I am Muhammad, the unlettered prophet of Allah. I am Muhammad, the unlettered prophet of Allah. I am Muhammad, the unlettered prophet of Allah. There will be no prophet after me.

These are just a brief listing of the authentic teachings of Hazrat Muhammad(SAW) available on the issue of the Finality of Prophethood; should a true believer have any doubt about the Finality of Prophethood?
It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.
Hazrat Muhammad(SAW) saw it fit to mention this very important fact in his historic sermon, which was witnessed by over 120,000 individuals. Through it, he again warned the entire mankind to stay away from destructive man-made cults, in the following words:
...O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me, and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you...
Should we not heed the prophets'(SAW) warnings and stay away from false prophets?
We sent no messenger save that he should be obeyed by Allah's leave. And if, when they had wronged themselves, they had but come unto thee and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the messenger, they would have found Allah Forgiving, Merciful. -
- . But nay, by thy Lord, they will not believe (in truth) until they make thee judge of what is in dispute between them and find within themselves no dislike of that which thou decidest, and submit with full submission.
Throughout the centuries, Muslim Scholars have unanimously supported the fundamental doctrine of Finality of Prophethood in Prophet Muhammad(SAW). So much so, that the entire Ummah has recognized anyone who claims to be a prophet (in any capacity), supports someone else's claim to prophethood, or views such claimant as a religious leader, to be an unbeliever (Kafir).[Read: The Opinion of well-known Muslim Scholars].
Should we not accept the opinion of our knowledgeable Muslim Scholars?
O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination.
Hoping to misguide individuals, who lack knowledge of linguistics and Arabic language, some unlearned opportunists have attempted to misinterprete the verse 33:40 of Al-Ahzab, which was mentioned earlier, since it is the best known verse in support of the doctrine of the Finality of Prophethood. Such individuals often claim the word khatam, in the context of the verse, to mean "stamp", "seal", "best", "decoration" or "ring"!
They also claim that the word Nabiyyeen indicates the "law giving prophets".
The actual dictionary translations of the words khatam nabuwat, in this context, are as follows:
Khatam: Can be read in two ways: khatam, meaning last or seal; and khatim meaning seal or terminator.
The authorative dictionary of Lisanul-Arab indicates that both 'khatam' and 'khatim' mean "last of them" and the Qamoos dictionary says that it indicates the "last person", like a seal.
Nabuwat: Messengership; Prophethood of any kind, since all Messengers (rasuls or law giving prophets) are also Prophets.
In the word of Allah(SWT), the Quran was revealed in detail in the arabic language so Arabs would understand it without a problem. True to God's promise, no arabic speaking person will have a doubt of what is meant by Khatme-Nabuwat.
Isn't it particularly amusing to find self-proclaimed "prophets", who according to historical records did not even have a working knowledge of the Arabic language, tried to reinterprete this verse?
Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in a language) other than Arabic they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger) an Arab?" Say: "It is a guide and a healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not there is a deafness in their ears and it is blindness in their (eyes); they are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!
12:2, 13:37, 16:103, 20:113, 26:195, 39:028, 41:003, 42:7, 43:3, and 46:12 also illuminate the point that proper knowledge of arabic language is required to avoid mistranslating/misinterpreting the Holy Quran.
The sheer amount of evidence provided here should suffice to convince anyone believing in the divinity of Islam that the prophet Muhammad(SAW) was the last Prophet of God and that anyone with a claim to prophethood should be considered an outcast from Islam. No one can better state this fact, than Allah(SWT) himself:
Bear witness that we are Muslims and we have conveyed the true message of Allah so that you might benefit from it.
Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones. Who will enter the Great Fire In which they will then neither die nor live.

How absurd to find individuals, who claim to believe in the miraculous nature of the Quran, be tricked into accepting Mirza Ghulam Qadiani as a religious teacher!
Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was born in a Muslim family in the North Indian village of Qadian in 1839. He recieved some religious education at home. He suffered from a variety of physical and mental illnesses of various kind and had a habit of taking OPIUM and TONIC WINE. Under the influence of British Rulers of India he sold his faith for petty wordly gains.
He claimed to be the Promised Messiah, Mahdi,Prophet & the Second Advent of Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw), who has come again in the from of Mirza to propagate Islam. He claimed that he recieve WAHI (Revelation) & named BRAHEEN-e-AHMADIYYAH as the BOOK of GOD.Britishers were facing difficulties in India because of the spirit of Jehad in Muslims & at their instigation,Mirza Ghulam Ahmad wrote books & pamphlets in which he ABROGATED JEHAD & made LOYALTY TO THE BRITISH RULERS AN ARTICLE OF FAITH.
Mirza Ghulam formed the AHMADIYYAH MOVEMENT in 1889 and called his follwers AHMADI MUSLIMS. He labelled ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT ACCEPT HIM AND DID NOT ACCEPT HIS PROPHETHOOD as BASTARDS (children of prostitutes). Mirza Ghulam Ahmad died in 1908 but Ahmadiyyah Movement has continued to flourish ever since; earlier under the patronage of British Masters and now the US and other anti-Muslim Governments.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad wrote 80 books during his life time, which provides an excellent insight into the mind of the man and how with passage of time his faith has evolved from Islam to Apostacy and Infedility. 'ROOHANI KHAZAIN' is the title for the collection of all the books by Mirza Ghulam, printed by the Ahmadiyya Movement Headquarter in London.
Mirza was born in a Muslim family. His early books therefore contained same beliefs as those of any other Sunni Muslim. But with the passage of time his beliefs underwent a dramatic change and his writings became more and more heretical and un-Islamic. However in an attempt to prove that Mirza Ghulam and Ahmadis are also Sunni Muslims, Ahmadiyyah Movement's propaganda literature usually give quotations from his earlier books.
Ahmadis will mostly talk of Holy Quran and Hadith keeping Mirza Ghulam well in the background and usually presenting him as a Reformer or a Mujaddid or Mahdi Or Messiah, depending on which type of people they are preaching to. Mirza Ghulam's claims to Prophehood are not discussed.

Following are some extracts from the books of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad which provided the basis for Islamic Scholars to declare him and his followers Kafir, Apostate and out of the fold of Islam:
F). " 'Inna Anzalnaaho Qareeban min alQadian wa bil Haq anzalnaahu No doubt we have sent him (Mirza) near Qadian and with truth we have sent him'; . . . this revelation which has been published in Braheene Ahmadiyya as well, is clearly and loudly revealing that the name of Qadian is definitely mentioned in Quran or Hadith as a prophecy."
D). Ahmadis should not differentiate between Mirza Ghulam and Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) because "Anyone who differentiate between me and Mustafa (pbuh) has not seen me and not recognized me." (Roohani Khazain vol 16 pp.171).
E). Mirza's WAHI told him : "'Muhammadur Rasoolullah wallazeena ma'ahoo ashiddaohoo' ala alkuffar rohamao bainahum' in this Wahi God has named me Muhammad and Rasoolullah." (Roohani Khazain vol 18 pp.207)
F). Since Mirza Ghulam is none other than Holy Prophet Muhmmad (pbuh) himself, therefore when an Ahmadi recites KALIMA TAYYEBAH, by Muhammadur Rasoolullah he means Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. (Kalimat al Fasl by Mirza Basheer Ahmad s/o Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani)
III. From Mirza s/o Chiragh Bibi to Jesus s/o Mary:
A) Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the son of Chiragh Bibi but he claimed that he is Eisa Ibne Maryam. He said that at first God converted him into Maryam for two years. After two years, God made him pregnant by blowing the soul of Eisa into him; he remained pregnant for 10 months, after whcih God converted him into Eisa. This is how he became Maryam as well as Eisa ibne Maryam. (Rooahni Khazain vol 19 pp. 87-89)

These are the words (Kalimah) by which one declares his/her intention to become a Muslim. A person, who understands and repeats this phrase in sincerity and devotion, lives and acts in accordance to its meaning and fulfills its requirement, belongs to the Muslim Ummah. Qadiani Ahmadi) leaders and missionaries, quite astutely, claim that since they also utter the same words (Kalimah), they should be considered Muslims! Is this something we should be concerned about or is it simply another attempt on their part to mislead the uninformed ?
O you who believe! When you go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were you yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that you do.
Indeed, we are required to accept anyone's claim to be a Muslim, unless his own actions and statements prove that he is not a Muslim. Obviously, declaring someone or the followers of an entire doctrine Kafir should be taken very seriously. In fact, admonishing those who have astrayed far from the teachings of Islam is a serious task entrusted to our learned scholars.
Intuitively, then, it is very significant that all Muslim denominations, organizations, scholars and nations have unanimously declared the Qadiani Ahmadi) movement outside the fold of Islam. Obviously, all these learned Muslims have done an extensive research and would not have declared Qadianism Ahmadiyyat) Kofr, if there was any doubt about its nature.
Yet, is the mere utterance of the Kalimah or the practice of the rituals of Islam enough to keep someone a Muslim, regardless of the deeds and beliefs of that person ???
Absolutely not. Our beloved Prophet(SAW), the most knowledgeable person regarding Islam, dealt with Kharijites (Khawarij) as unbelievers, once they purposely and persistently refuted some of the Sharia (laws) of Islam. Their perpetual observance of religious services and their persistent pronouncement of the Kalimah did not benefit them at all.
In another case, when an individual by the name of Musaylma (now known as Musaylma the Liar by Muslims) declared himself to be a non-law bearing co-prophet of Muhammad(SAW), the Prophet(SAW) ordered him to stop spreading lies. However, after the death of the Prophet(SAW), Musaylma managed to lead astray thousands of people of Banu Haneef tribe, who lived at a great distance from learned companions.
All members of the Banu Haneef had declared Shahadah and were practicing the rituals of Islam, otherwise they were ignorant about the doctrines of Islam. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique(RA), supported by all learned companions of the Prophet(SAW), treated those followers of Musaylma who refused to accept the truth as Kafirs. (Can you also see a similarity between Musaylam and Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and his followers?)
In another case, Ali Ibn Abi Talib(RA) pronounced those "Muslims", who insisted on calling him "Allah impersonified", kafir and dealt with them accordingly. Obviously, anyone who breaks his covenant with Allah(SWT), by knowingly refuting the signs of Allah(SWT), ceases to remain a Muslim, regardless of whether he proclaims the Kalimah or appears to perform the rituals of Islam.
Clearly then, the mere fact that Qadianis Ahmadis) appear to utter our Kalimah or perform some of our rituals is not enough to include them in Muslim ummah. We already know that they have to accept Mirza Ghulam Qadiani as a prophet of God (Read: How do Qadianis (Ahmadiyya) differ from Muslims) and they have declared themselves as followers of a religion different from Islam (Read: What do Qadianis (Ahmadiyya) think of Muslims).
Finally, we like to point out that the Kalimah uttered by Qadianis Ahmadis) is meant to have a different meaning than those recited by Muslims. In support of this claim, we present the following writings of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and his associates:
"I am the Maseeh of the time and I am Moses on whom God conferred His speech. I am Muhammad and Ahmad, the selected one."
(Taryaq-ul-Qulub, P. 3/6; Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 15, P. 134)
"Muhammad is the messenger of Allah and those accompanying Him (His companions are very strict against the unbelievers). In this divine revelation, I am named Muhammad and the prophet of Allah."(Aik Ghalti ka Izala, P. 3; Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 18, P. 207)
"Muhammad has again come down among us. His position is an improvement on his earlier visitation. If any man wishes to see Muhammad, more competent, then he should see Ghulam Ahmad, in Qadian."(Al-Badr, 25 Oct. 1906)

Indeed, Mirza Ghulam's death was a sign of Allah(SWT)'s displeasure with him. He died from the disease he feared the most in a wretched condition and in utter disgrace, as he himself had stated:
"To turn out a liar in his own prophecy is biggest disgrace of disgraces."(Roohany Khazaen, Vol. 15, P. 382)

Bashir Ahmad, the son of Mirza Ghulam, wrote in his biography:
"My mother informed me that 'the first attack of looseness of bowels upon the Promised Messiah occurred when he was at his dining room table. Later, I started pressing his legs and he lay in comfort and slept and soon I too slept. After a short while, he again felt the call of nature and he used the bathroom a couple of times without awakening me, After this he felt very weak; he shook me up and laid down on my bed. -

Mirza Ghulam's father in law, Mir Nasir Nawab, recorded in his autobiography:
"The night his holiness fell ill, I was sleeping in my room. When his illness grew severe, they woke me up. I went over to his holiness and found him in great pain. He addressed me saying: 'I have been stricken with cholera.' After this, he did not utter a single intelligible and coherent word till he died on Monday, after ten O'clock in the morning."(Hayat-i-Nasir, P. 14)

Mirza Ghulam used to say that cholera or plague is the sign of Allah(SWT)'s wrath on mankind for their wrong doing! It is fitting that his last words were the admission that he had been stricken with the disease he was so fearful of. The witnesses present at his bed side recorded:
"As his condition became precarious, we stayed by him and continued treatment, but his pulse stopped by 10:15 A.M., on the 26th May, 1908 he breathed his last."(Al-Hakam, Mary 28, 1908)

1) Khatmay-Nabuwat in the Quran

Hoping to misguide individuals, who lack knowledge of linguistics and Arabic language, some unlearned opportunists have attempted to misinterprete the verse 33:40 of Al-Ahzab, which was mentioned earlier, since it is the best known verse in support of the doctrine of the Finality of Prophethood. Such individuals often claim the word khatam, in the context of the verse, to mean "stamp", "seal", "best", "decoration" or "ring"!

They also claim that the word Nabiyyeen indicates the "law giving prophets".
The actual dictionary translations of the words khatam nabuwat, in this context, are as follows:
Khatam: Can be read in two ways: khatam, meaning last or seal; and khatim meaning seal or terminator.
The authorative dictionary of Lisanul-Arab indicates that both 'khatam' and 'khatim' mean "last of them" and the Qamoos dictionary says that it indicates the "last person", like a seal.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was born in a Muslim family in the North Indian village of Qadian in 1839. He recieved some religious education at home. He suffered from a variety of physical and mental illnesses of various kind and had a habit of taking OPIUM and TONIC WINE. Mirza Ghulam formed the AHMADIYYAH MOVEMENT in 1889 and called his follwers AHMADI MUSLIMS. He labelled ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT ACCEPT HIM AND DID NOT ACCEPT HIS PROPHETHOOD as BASTARDS (children of prostitutes). Mirza Ghulam Ahmad died in 1908 but Ahmadiyyah Movement has continued to flourish ever since; earlier under the patronage of British Masters and now the US and other anti-Muslim Governments.

Following are some extracts from the books of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad which provided the basis for Islamic Scholars to declare him and his followers Kafir, Apostate and out of the fold of Islam:

A) Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the son of Chiragh Bibi but he claimed that he is Eisa Ibne Maryam. He said that at first God converted him into Maryam for two years. After two years, God made him pregnant by blowing the soul of Eisa into him; he remained pregnant for 10 months, after whcih God converted him into Eisa. Obviously, declaring someone or the followers of an entire doctrine Kafir should be taken very seriously. In fact, admonishing those who have astrayed far from the teachings of Islam is a serious task entrusted to our learned scholars.

Our beloved Prophet(SAW), the most knowledgeable person regarding Islam, dealt with Kharijites (Khawarij) as unbelievers, once they purposely and persistently refuted some of the Sharia (laws) of Islam. Their perpetual observance of religious services and their persistent pronouncement of the Kalimah did not benefit them at all.

In another case, when an individual by the name of Musaylma (now known as Musaylma the Liar by Muslims) declared himself to be a non-law bearing co-prophet of Muhammad(SAW), the Prophet(SAW) ordered him to stop spreading lies. However, after the death of the Prophet(SAW), Musaylma managed to lead astray thousands of people of Banu Haneef tribe, who lived at a great distance from learned companions.

All members of the Banu Haneef had declared Shahadah and were practicing the rituals of Islam, otherwise they were ignorant about the doctrines of Islam. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique(RA), supported by all learned companions of the Prophet(SAW), treated those followers of Musaylma who refused to accept the truth as Kafirs. (Can you also see a similarity between Musaylam and Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and his followers?)

In another case, Ali Ibn Abi Talib(RA) pronounced those "Muslims", who insisted on calling him "Allah impersonified", kafir and dealt with them accordingly. Obviously, anyone who breaks his covenant with Allah(SWT), by knowingly refuting the signs of Allah(SWT), ceases to remain a Muslim, regardless of whether he proclaims the Kalimah or appears to perform the rituals of Islam.

Clearly then, the mere fact that Qadianis Ahmadis) appear to utter our Kalimah or perform some of our rituals is not enough to include them in Muslim ummah.
