I have shit for Internet. Seriously. I get 9 mb and I pay 120$ FOR THIS SHIT. AND I can't even play online! I lag out INCESSANTLY. can't wait to switch to charter and get 18 mb for 30$. I have nulink. Which is more like NOlink.

I was hacked earlier this month, and lost some vitally important and sentimental files... It wasn't detected even with really good security programs that I update and scan every time I use my computer, there were no traces found.

Advice to others, so they don't have the same problem as I did:

Get your entire network in your house secured by a trustworthy expert in this field!

I've tried looking this everywhere, but this knowledge was too complex, and wasn't very clear or easy instruction

This site is *mostly* accurate on their articles. You may know exactly what kind of site it is!

(Look up the humane society on a search!)

You can even try searching this site for your question on your breed of dog!

An expert trainer may be able to better personally instruct you and help with dogs, and may be the fastest and best way to teach you about how to raise your breed correctly!

Advice for you, Buck, with your dog:

The dog barking is a fairly easily correctable behavior (depending on breed, and how early you intervene in this bad behavior!). If you can't afford an good, gentle, expert trainer: Try someone who is good with training animals that you now of well, or even try watching and/or writing to Cesar "Dog Whisperer" Milan or Victoria Stillwater (From "It's me or the Dog!")

Highly recommended you try her first!

Out here in Denver it's reversed: the DSL (Qwest) is vastly superior to cable, Comcast, (I call them "ComCrap"). I still have a (kind of) slow DSL, (1.5M) yet it's faster and more reliable than my friends who are stuck with the officially "faster" comcrap service. Companies make a bigger difference than protocols (DSL vs. cable). I've heard that ComCrap is the worst cable provider in the United States. If we had a good cable company here, I'd probably be on cable for internet.

DSL isn't as bad as dial up is ... I mena, dial up was the internet when the internet was first 'invented', slow as HECK! The fastest speeds for it is about 100 Kilobytes per second (a video is about 1000 Kilobytes a second)

Now I have comcast, and it still act like a Grandma fascinated on how fast it goes (even though a lot of people think it's slow)

Dial up sucks .... that's the moral of my mini-paragraph! :D

Then my dad switched to comcast, where apparently there was a problem with their connection and OUR house (the only house in the neighborhood). So for like, three months it would literally go out every five minutes and they kept coming in to "fix it" and it never worked. Then eventually a month ago one guy finally fixed it right and it hasn't gone out once since.

Funny how DSL sucks in the States, here in Europe it's often the opposite. In either case, most DSL plans are just bad for uploaders because they're so asymetric (you get huge downstream speeds and almost no upstream bandwidth). VDSL will help improve things, but that's expensive to deploy so the phone companies don't pick it up right now.
