  • That was a waste of 9:55.

  • um um um um you say that to much its legit but its not makes no sense?

  • John Casablancas, founder of leading model agency Elite, has been named in a sex abuse lawsuit by an aspiring model who claims he made her pregnant at the age of 15, and then arranged an abortion -- all more than 15 years ago(THIS IS ON THE WEBSITE U GAVE TO US!) I WENT TO A JC OPEN CALL.. IM LITTERALLY WIPING TEARS~! RIGHT NOW..

  • YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO PAY ANYONE !! IT SOUNDS LIKE JOHN CASABLANCAS!

  • IMPORTANT READ: THE BEST AND ONLY ADVICE. PERIOD!

Scam or not the money you spend on these type events is not worth it. Period.

Your money can be much better spent if you are interested in a carrier in modeling or acting.

Top agencies in modeling search tirelessly for top talent, odds are you aren't what they are looking for... The look is less than a fraction of 1%.

As for acting the best they will tell you... "Move to LA, you CAN work."

No one is going to see you and MAKE your career.

  • IVE ASKED EVERY HUMAN BEING THIS SAME QUESTION FOR 2 WEEKS STRAIGHT WILL SOMEBODY PLEAS FUCKING TELL ME A GOOD MONOLOGUE FOR A 13 YEAR OLG MALE AND HOW MUCH PROSCOUT COSTS!!!!!

  • @ImAWannaBe2711 i can't help you with the monologue, but it cost $795 to go to the actual event and then however much expenses are for transportation, hotel, etc.

  • well they let you meet agents basically. your paying them to meet agents which seems kind of wrong.

  • and girl stop saying that its not a scam but it is!!! dam just say it is!!

  • yeah its a scam!!! you shouldnt pay anything!!!! the company already have money to get you started!!! but to those who got money to throw away....go right ahead!!

  • actors, if you want to be an actor, make sure when picking a scene from a movie or commercial, make sure its not a movie or commercial that everyone knows. when i attended the event, at least 5 teenage girls did the same scene from "EASY A" when Olive wishes her life was an 80's movies...that just shows that you're not much of an original person or very creative because 5 other girls did the same scene.....

  • Parents, if you think you're 5 year old kid has talent, don't even waist your time attending and paying $800 dollars, why? because there will be at least over 100 kids from ages 3 to 10 there. Its a waist of time and money, unless you're kid has so much talent and could possible be the next disney star, dont even try if you think you're kid will land a contract just for being cute and funny, the industry has plenty of those "kids" already.

  • Proscout, i agree, it is a scam and it also is not. Sure you get to see 40 top agents, but you don't ever get to talk to them unless you get a callback. And these "agents" aren't really the real agents from the agencies, theyre just people sent from the company to attend this event. Let me tell all the people who are wanting to go but aren't sure: If you want to be a model, be over 5'10" no matter what! they won't even look at you if you're under that height, and don't be overweight either!

  • @HND0 What commercial is it?

  • Alrighty then people! Proscout is not a SCAM! they are not an agent they just get you to the agents. the money is because of the hotel and so they can pay for theworkers and well make some money. And well it is impossible to meet and agent cause well you can walk up to there door and say here i am hire me! please don't take what see says to heart cause she has never gone to a event. FYI Tron star used proscout and got found. So did the little boy from the blindside. ProScoutTV is their youtube

  • HEY!Let me guess U did not get a call back with an agency and now u want no one to go because your mad?

  • okay proscout is a scam, they dont tell u everything like if ur going to meet up with agents then y cant u see and talk to the agents when u there. i went &&& you never get to talk to agents up front. They dont put agents in front of u, they put more middle people in front of you, and if you dont make it past them u never meet agents! simple as that!

  • The money is well worth it. So if you get the chance PLEASE go. Don't listen to what anyone says. A lot of people online are talking bad about pro scout. But guess what? Those people talking bad about it either did not get an invitation to attend or did not receive a single callback. Dream Big, Never Little. B U, B TRU.

  • I'm 20 now. Since signing with my agency I've done a commercial and still working my way up. Understand, don't think just by attending pro scout you'll be famous over night. It depends on your determination and patience. Everyone has their time to shine. Some sooner than others. But your time will come. Not to scare you all, but it is VERY DIFFICULT to meet top agents on your own. TRUST me. Although it maybe difficult, it doesn't mean its impossible. Just means it'll take a lot of work.

  • Everyone Pro Scout is 100% not a scam. I've attended it in 2009. It was the best experience in my entire life. I began acting at 11 and been taking classes since. Yes the amount is hefty, but you need to understand it goes towards the event itself. Not to actually meet agents. The only time you have a one on one conversation with an agent is if you receive a callback. I received 3. One in New York, L.A., and Atlanta. If an agency asks you to pay money in order to sign with them, then its a scam.

  • Uhh Buddey, why dont you leanr how to read? :) Nice name - Breybrey2dajizzay ' .xDHUHA

  • I think your a Scam .

  • but its not ?! (It is oR IT ISNT.) what if they didnt goo when they would have madeee it because of your videeeo . Someoness going to madee it each year . Im kinda glad it wasnt you...appreciate what you were able to do because of themm .

  • not theresss - they gave you the opportunityy -- yOU decide what you do with it. Its a one in a life time thing and soo many people are proud of itt and your just putting everyone down who has a dream like you did beforee and telling them not to go because it is a scamm,

  • you know it, thats why your posting this, because your mad that you got your hopes up. You goo knowing your not garanteeed to make it in - ITS A CHANCE - AN OPPORTUNITYY ! not a garanteee, at least you got the chance and if you didnt make it then thats your fault-

  • where you have the chancee to meeet them all in one day andd if you have what it takes then one or more of the agencies will obviously pick you but if not, then there is your reson you didnt make ittt and

  • Yoou payy to GET THERE, to the meeting placeee ! Nott to be in one of the agencies , there bringing over 30 of the worlds BEST top modeling and acting agencies too one place, one placeee

  • It's not a scam, i went and it doesn't cost that much and they don't must likely pick you, it's all luck. If you think it's a scam don't go but your missing out on the best opertunity in your life. I can prove it's not a scam, have you ever seen the movie the blind side. the kid tht plays the little boy was discovered by ProScout

  • Ummmnn yeahhh that's about it its a scam and ummmmmmm yeah its not really though annnn.d that's ummmmmm

About ummmmm yeah ummmm that's about it

  • Proscout is not a scam, they are not an agent so they can have up front fees. They are a middle man between you and the agents which is their job. The fees are because they put the event on rent the space fly the agents in, etc. So of course theres a cover charge but more so because youre paying for a spot in the event, at no point do you personally hand the attending agents money.. You need to do more research on whats involved

  • hahaha i just left my first interview with them and i got in. but after the money amount was brought up, i realized that there really are other ways. so girl, u and i see eye to eye on this thing. it's kinda like a scam but then it's not. and yeah, i never trust websites, slideshows, etc. because it ain't like the people who did it are actually telling me their experience. i'm too smart for that.

  • @breybrey2dajizzay AHAHAHA omg your effing stupid Girl ;) . ahah

  • Withh DAT aditudee you wouldntt have goot in anyways ;D . ahah

  • @hannahmulligan1995

uh...buddy, before u reply back to any of my old comments, please read a dictionary if u don't know how to spell correctly, okay? bye now! :)

  • Well I did go yesterday and did get an invite to the 'convention' but girl I think you heard your stuff wrong. 1st he said Miami, NYC, and LA and etc is where most of the more 'hollywood' based stuff are mostly generated from. 2nd he never said you were guarenteed an agent (Its not that easy). 3rd the agents are the finest in the world. 4th agent revenue is based of a 20% comission meaning they make money when YOU make money. so yeah..

  • It's in my town this week so I think I'm going to go and mess with the interviewers :P

  • If you thought you were going there and that agents from the most reputable companies in the world would waste their time sitting, plucking there way through small town folk you are either ignorant or sadly misinformed. Proscout is basically in short, the people who do all the dirty work. They then allow you the opportunity to meet all of these agents. I was chosen and I will be attending the ProScout convention in Seattle. Sad to hear so many people wasted the opportunity of a lifetime.

  • So glad i found out its a scam! I went to the ProScout meeting and got a call back and the invitation, but it seemed weird so i researched it! Im happy i didnt waste over $800!!!

  • @missmemissy ahah Omg, too bad you didnt usee itt .

  • @hannahmulligan1995 use what?

  • proscout is not a scam, i recently went the first thing u do is listen to the guy talk hes not an agent and they give you a short little interview and if ur good they give u a card and u get calledback and then they talk to u more and u get invited to the convention and it does cost $795 but u do get to meet face to face with like 40 huge agencies ITS NOT A SCAM ITS JUST EXPENSIVE

  • I'm thinking of taking my daughter tommrow any suggestions new info for her she is 12 years old and a really good singer. And her name is mika is there anyway she can contact you? maybe you could help mentor her ?

  • @MrBaxterbthirdworld Take your Daughter make sure shes open happy smiles and really opens up to the person and talks and im sure everything will be good .

  • how many call backs did you get? because your gourgouse and im not nearly as pretty as you and im gonna go but i dont wanna end up gettin no call backs. :(

  • @OneAndOnlyThell You dont get "call backs" they select you and invite you to attend a convention. They are NOT agents of any time thats why they are called Pro "SCOUT" they are the searchers. Do your research people!

  • remember the guy said hes charging us because it cost money to put the event together

  • you are uneducated. of course you're not guaranteed a spot.. you have to work for it. I know because I did and I have an agency in Nashville and Chicago. Its definitely legit. and obviously you have not done your research.

  • @brandybearrxD ahha I likee the word - uneducated ! ;D ahha Suitss her freeking perfect .

  • Thank You! You saved me time and money : )

  • you should not do this but do not look up proscoutstv that is where i spent all the money

  • I'm going this October(: view my monologues!(: please

  • wait did you go to invatationals?because i did and i was offered 20,000 in gigs and i did some of them and got paid THIS IS NOT A SCAM they have to have you pay because they have to pay to get the agents to you i got put out by them and was promoted and you do have to pay for the agents they dont come for free eighther and you get all your money back if not more than you gave also they want beautiful people and talented people and in any other ways to get you into gigs isnt gauranteed eighther

  • its not a scam! i just came back it and it was asome!! do it

  • She's just scary you guys go over there and ask what if you don't even have to pay and you go in

  • Thanks! U jus saved me alot of money an time:)

  • some proscout people r racist

  • @flippandyoumissit HAHAH what ?xD

  • So thanks and here is a free website for people like us starting out it will give u casting call and auditions in yor area and international free and to audition u upload a video or send in a headshot that's all it's Alan baltes blog. Hope it helps

  • Because of this video I did research and I see what u mean I even called some agencies and they said they don't have a contract with proscout and do there own talent searches free and welcome walking and amiture pics.

  • I agree with the fact that you shouldn't pay for representation or for agents to see you, but you would spend that much money if not more to go to LA or NY to meet with agencies. If you have the money why not?! Just if you go for the experience, try hard, and have fun! If something good comes out of it great!!! Besides that is just your opinion!

  • @mainvidman Oh, and you're not guaranteed a "spot" in an agency just by visiting. And you're also not guaranteed a "promotion."

  • Omg its not like tht it takes money to get all those agents there and of course your not garunteed to get signed!i mean what if your not good enough its not a scam cuz they tell u tht in the beggining.i hate to seem rude but dont hate on it cuz u dont understand it.yet agian i say i dont mean to be rude.im just clearly stating a point thnx for reading this.

  • Dang...if i went infront of a bunch of agents suppose to say stuff while they just stare at me...i would sooo (prob...) not getta call back O-O (im not good wiff speakin infront of a crowed!!) omg...tht would soooo b a waste of $795!!!!!!!! :'(

  • @Neonblue235 For you.

  • wait...so if u DO pay the $795...nd dnt get a call back...thn u would hav just got ripped-off........ hmmmm... -_-

  • call me ;) lol

  • I agree Jaelyn! I'm goin next year to mine PS event in Orlando.

  • the paying money part is pretty wackk but my convention is coming up and im very excited, it seems dumbb but imagine when you go ? you get a contract!!! you get that $750 back with in 2 weeks ? some people start their careers that fast. ( :

i agree but i think its worth the money.

  • @JaelynRomero Thewres nothign right bwith what she was saying ahah .. OMGOMG AWWWWWWSOME :PP

  • Meeting with the agents is called a showcase and showcases are NEVER free because they aren't open calls. You have to secure your place there so a payment is necessary but the Proscout price is NOT ok. I've seen several showcases where the price was only $100-150 to secure your spot there. Rumor is Proscout charges $795 now. check out local showcases or travel to others b/c they do the same thing as Proscout but are much cheaper.

  • The price is just crazy! :/

  • Really? Proscout is a scam? then why does it say in Garrett Hedlund's wikipedia it clearly states in his '' Early Life '' column. ''he paid to attend a talent convention with a scouting company called Pro Scout, where he was signed by a talent agency.'' and if THAT doesn't do it check out Nate Parker's wiki right around his ''Acting Career'' column. you were probably one of those who did'nt get any callbacks and seeking a port to vent on.

  • @alexuniversoul u know people would catch on if Proscout didn;t create some success stories, and wikis can be altered, how about u comment again when ur best friend "Nate Paker" tells us HIMSELF he wuz discovered by Pro scout

  • Aww I'm scared bcuz I'm going soon an alredy paid the $200

If it's not a scam( I hope it isn't) pls check out my monolgue for it.. I need some help :)

  • aaww i am going tomorrow

  • you suck! talk faster! not like. ummm ummmm

  • I WENT and YEAH he said $795 I was like YEAH SCAM! I said u NEVER pay agents yall gets yall PAY from the Gig pay yall send me on and yall get 10% and he didn't answer back so I left.

  • weeeeeeeeelllll my cusins friend payed 5,000 for a bad company and were i live no local agencies lol so i payed and im going in two weeks and hopefully it all goes well ;)

  • if you can afford to attend this talent search convention - It is a great experience - Great opportunity to be seen by agencies who may not be located in your area. I agree with you that you shouldn't pay to get discovered - however; it takes money to make money. Even going to see local agencies there is no gaurantee you will be selected or even promoted to LA / NYC agencies. It is a hard business. It is no different than paying for dance conventions or acting schools - your paying for a service

  • and what makes you think the agents are legit? this whole thing is a scam. i'm glad I checked this video.

  • Thanks so much for the insight on proscout, because their coming to Jacksonville next week Thursday and I got so excited about it because they we're basically eliminating the middle man and heading right into the agents. But honestly it sounded way to good to be true so I had to do some youtube research (to get some REAL PEOPLE opinions about it). $795 is way to much (it is less then the last audition I went to tho but they we're the middle man to agents.) Thankyou, you saved me a car drive XD

  • @KillerWhalesRock125 omg im going tooo. well im going to LA which one you going too .

  • If you search on youtube - (Proscout why serious people love), this girl who was did proscout made her dream come true, If you dont want it to seem like a scam, you have to work hard for it

  • im going this april , to the convention of agnets(:

  • you pay the fee because that's how they're able to bring in the agents. it pays for their hotel stay and travel expenses. if you think about it, staying in nyc could cost up to 1000 dollars for a few days stay to be seen by maybe one agency..and they might not take walk-in auditions. at this event you're able to go to work shops held by industry professionals and get their insight. a lot of people say this is a scam because they don't get call backs. you get a call back if you have talent.

  • @nate21192 i appreciate your comment(:

  • I went to the Event and what she saying is very true! I went to the acting class they was offering and that cost extra money also! No I didn't make and I think I will not go again. Because you keep on put out money and you chances aren't high in making it! My film acting coach told I was crazy for paying the first time! But each it own and everyone has to learn their own lessons in life!

  • i did it and got into an AMAZING agency so i would rouccomend it=)

  • ...your pricing of the $345 was the price back in the 80s and 90s. Just for your own knowledge

  • you are right that you should never have to pay to meet with an agent, but you are going to a convention. You are paying for them to travel to you, pays for their hotel, pays for YOUR hotel and your time on stage. And like you said, they are bringing the agent to YOU at your convenience. You would spend more than that traveling to ny, la, chicago, boston, and miami.

  • SOOO U DIDNT GO SO HOW ABOUT U STFU UR MAD CAUSE U DIDNT HAVE ANY MONEY

  • How could you really know what happens if you never went? They tell you at the interview you may not get a job. Your simply paying for them to bring the agents to you, which makes sense.

  • And just because they are on the bbb with a rating doesnt mean NOTHING trust me...i seen companys with good ratings but are ripping people off left and right. It all goes back to if people are bold enough to complain on them and go through the process. If not..it keeps their rating high. So never go by that. Just do you own research and go from there. You cant go wrong there.

  • Nobody should ever pay to see a agent. And ford models show according to the website that all they have to do is submit a photo..for FREE!!! So then that brings you back to why pay &795.00 for something that u are not sure if they will like you or not. NOW check out the Rip-off report on them..they have "agents" who actually worked the events..and what they say is NOT GOOD!! key is do your own research before dishing out funds!

  • yea yea she reminds me of rhianna

  • Check the BBB website. they ARE Legit with a real phone number and a address. Nothing is guarenteed. Did you get a play card? I got a play card and everything is completely legitif you take off the big earrings and the tongue ring out then you might get a playcard next time!! The $795.00 is to pay for 40 agents to see you perform... if you catch a cab or drive that is gas money and then you have to take pics and that is money... so why not combine the price into one convention. do more research

  • . Check the BBB website. they ARE Legit with a real phone number and a address. Nothing is guarenteed. Did you get a play card??? I got a play card and everything is completely legit Maybe if you take off the big earrings and the tongue ring out then you might get a playcard next time!!

  • $ 795.00 is for the priveledge to go and meet the agents... you cannot go and meet agents at the door go and try and i bet you won't get in... they fly the agents out for free to meet with you... so in order to get them out there for free you have to pay a fee... just like if you were to go to a business convention.

  • so u dont get to talk to any agents on the first day of the interviews? u wont be able to talk to them till the convention?

  • @rachelwangc correct.

  • @inspiredxkita Shit i dont kno wat u talkin bout i didn't go thru none of that shit. . .i got 9 call bacs in 10 days n im now in L.A workin onna movie.

  • there are a lot of scams out there but proscout is definitely not one of them

getting an interview with an a-list casting director is almost impossible

proscout makes it there job to gather these busy people together for you and the money you pay goes to them for doing that job. I wouldn't expect it to be free.

its definitely a gamble thow because only a few get "discovered"

  • Thank you so much because when they first said pay I did not feel right, thank you so much.

  • The 795 isnt for meeting the agents. its for paying proscout, because they are NOT anytime of modeling or acting agency, they set up EVERYTHING for you to get to meet the agents and all that, and i think the money goes in for them, getting the agents, flying everywhere to meet everyone, and basically just setting up the whole convention. I think were paying proscout, not agents or anything. How could proscout be a business if they arent making any money?

  • @marlinskott That's exactly what I understood when they came here last friday in Toronto I got my card and an invitation for Nov 6 in Philly. They r a business, how are they gonna make money if nobody pays anything and it's free? I also know that a very small %of people get signed with an agent. I'm confident with my acting skills and looks that I'll have calls back if u r not sure about yourself? then yeah save your $ and don't go bc u already lost. u want something in life? go get it period

  • Can u be a complete amateur or do u need to have expierence?

  • i went and the same thing happened when i went to the interview so my mom convinced me not to go and i am happy that didnt go to the convention in orlando so i spent a weekend with my family and it was way better so its a good thing that your spreading the word about proscout.

  • Comment removed

  • thank you all very much for commenting(: im glad i can help you guys! i havent been able to check the link yet but i will be checking it soon(:

  • @inspiredxkita Hey, im delonta and i was also a proscout callback. I told myself i was not going to do that, so im going to continue to do it the right way. thanks for the heads up.

  • thank you so much for the information ! :D

  • Thanks so much, very informing !

  • Thanks for your video. I am glad my mom convinced me not to go. Shopping was way better.

I am glad you are letting the world know that it is a scam even though they seem to be doing a job.

  • i agree if you have the money i think that its worth the try and if not then find other means. i remember my interview and the scout told us that this business was 90% rejection plus you didnt even go to the event so you cant really say if its a scam or not if you didnt go through the complete experience. for you to fly out there and knock on doors and get hotels, your gonna pay out almost the same amount of money or more if you dont live there.

  • from what you have explained to me it seems like you just explained the outcome of everything you do in life. noting in life is guaranteed. you take a chance, if you go to new york and la and all those other places and walk in and see an agent you still are not guaranteed to be signed on.

  • you are confusing me , am going to proscout this Saturday actually and to me its eighter a scam or not a scam and it would really help if you stop with all the ummmmm, its sound like you don't know what your talking about

  • Hey my name is Tyran, and i really want to go to the chicago one, but i just doing my research to find the truth. The more i hear about them the less i want to know.

  • The link you gave doesnt work. However if you check with the Better Business Bureau there are only 5 complaints over the last 11 years. Their rating is A+. Non of the complaints say it is a scam. And, I'm sure they tell you up front that there are no guarantees. I have dealt with Proscout with a good result.

  • @colinjackson1520 i wish you the best of luck! :D let me know how it goes(:

  • @Arod006enforcer thats exactly what im saying! glad you agree(:

  • you make alot of scence but im still going lol if i waste money....well i dout it cuz i know i got this

  • Its an "Iffy" thing i went to orientation passed and went to the event, didnt get a callback, then they gave me a paper saying come back and it will only be 295 its like you fucking mooks man you need more? I dont really ilke it. Good video your absolutely right!!

  • @puppylover524 now after you make it & if you decide you want to see agents, they might have you do it infront of everybody there but im not sure cause i decided to not go. its was a bit too much money for me. i hope i answered your question(:

  • @puppylover524 asking for monolouges to read to him & what not. but to answer your question, youre in a room with a bunch of ppl in the audition room but it was so loud, i could barely hear him speak lol (cont.)

  • @puppylover524 well when you audition, they had me in one room with like 200 or more ppl & they call you up to a table & they ask you questions...but i was trying out to be a model & he didnt ask me to walk or anything. now the ppl who were trying to act, he was

  • do u have to preform infront of everybody? or r they in a room and u meet the agents please answer back thank you :)

  • CONT

way? but proscout is one of the few places in this world that is not a scam and i understand you saying it is but its not, but your reason for it being a scam is not good. Not good at all. I went to another event that was higher than proscout and they wanted 2000 and you had to fly to arizonia! they only picked kids that looked like they were rich so I am going to proscout in April and my cousin went I will tell you all of what happens then okay.! btw the classes are give and take

  • CONT

to have a agent in a different city, answer NO it is not also Isabelle Fuhrman even said you only get a agent if you already do a movie or commercal. you have a better chance at winning the lottery then by becoming famous from local agents. Besides ever heard of Dusti she has a agent, FROM PROSCOUT. she hasnt done jobs but a little boy who is 13 who has done jobs and is famous also came from proscout. He started 3 years ago and why would he lie about proscout? if it didnt help him in no

  • My mom tried our local agent here in KC MO and my grandmal paid a lot of money for class and at the end they promise to help you become a high top paid model.! THATS A BUNCH OF BULL tyra also said to that girl that you shouldnt pay a agent out of pocket not pay people to see one because those agents dont get not a DIME from it. Also, if you local agent is already in a BIG city you cant see them anyway becaus they dont look at you. I called many people to ask how to get a agent and if it is good

  • @braunsuga1 (cont.) & im sorry if you dont agree but i just dont believe that ppl should waste their hard earned money on proscout unless they know for sure thats something they wanna do & do their research. but thanks for your comment anyways(:

  • @braunsuga1 (cont.) & how do you think ppl out there became models? most of them didnt go through proscout lol they looked on thier own & sure, it take time & alot of money, if you decide to travel to Ny or La, but i think you have a better chance that way than not being guarenteed to even see all the "top agents".

  • @braunsuga1 i explained how it was a scam but at the same time it wasnt. also, people should ask questions before handing off seven hundred & something dollars. tyra did a whole show on scams & also said you're never supposed to pay to see agents. so since shes a model herself, i take her word for it(:

  • @miszxo exactly what im saying(:

  • CONT. you can't have more than one talent agency. your signed under a contract, so how can you be signed to more than one agency?

  • CONT. you claim no local agent will never get a person far? You have ALOT of nerves! You can make it anywhere out here in this industry no matter who you are with. It takes determination and how far you're willing to go to make your dreams come true. So, don't you ever dare tell anyone they can't make it far with an local agent. And didn't you know proscout half the time doesn't even bring upon all the agents they claim they will bring? wow, silly people like you make me laugh. 'Cause clearly

  • @BraunSuga1 ok, look, first off everyone knows that you do not have to pay a DIME to see an agent. Everyone always clarifies that. I know a couple of people out there who have agents and never paid a dime. The only time they have was when they landed a job and had to pay part of their profit. Now, don't you know times have changed? You can easily send pictures online to modeling companies. Heck, FORD even has online modeling contest. Seventeen magazine holds modeling contest through Ford..and

  • @proscoutactress hmm ok. that makes sense to me. thank you for clarifying(: & youre welcome. its a good song right lol

  • of course it is a good song hear it everyday in kc lmao but this one girl went twice and the 2nd time she got a agent she hasnt went on jobs yet but she has a agent andthats a bright side btw ima ask them questions wen i go in april

also my cousin got a agent but then later he said he didnt need her but he didnt have openings for vee

  • Which is it, "A scam" or "Not a scam"?

Ok, i think the problem is you do not listen well. At the very start they ALWAYS tell you "The are NOT AGENT" they are a business bringing together in one lace for you all the "top agents." i am a gorgeous model who is currently registered with the top 5 local agents and believe me as gorgeous as I am and haven been scouted by a top agent in NY on the street, i know that it's not that my beauty or body does not cut it, no.

But no local agent, again, NO local agent will EVER get you that far! it is not Proscout's responsibility to ensure that you are signed with an agent that is your job by showing those agents that you have what it takes to impress them and stand out amongst the hundreds of thousands of letters with pictures they receive every day and amongst the thousands that will be there.

The first question you suggested to ask is "silly" because how exactly are they supposed to answer that? Which is it, "A scam" or "Not a scam"?

If they were to dignify that question with an answer with a numerical figure, that then proves that it is a scam because then that would prove they the pre-choose and the quantity of those who make and how can they determine that for the hundreds of agents who come to the event to scout new talent?

If you were Proscout can you afford to pay all those "TOP AGENTS" out of pocket and then pay for the hotel to host the event? How do you suppose ALL those expenses are covered? Do you suppose they do it for free?

Being a business woman, i know you have to put in money to make money.

Local agents, who many of them i have visited (because i contacted the or they contacted me) will cost you a arm & a leg in total when it's all said & done you WILL spend more than $2000 minimum & keep in mind the essential key word "LOCAL agents." They will NOT get you as far as this top agents will. PERIOD.

Which is it, "A Scam" or "Not a Scam"? Make up your mind.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a spokesperson for 'Proscout'. I am merely a person who thinks logically from logical stand points.

  • Yeahh THAT is what I'm saying, as I talk to my cousin who is a extra! Who doesn't have a agent and really knows how hard it is.

  • You sound grown but let me help you out.!

  • @proscoutactress it just a little difficult for me to understand why you have to pay to see agents when if you walk into an agency, you don't have to pay. i totally get that they are "top notch" agents but if you were to just walk in their office, im pretty sure you wouldnt have to pay you know? but at least they are doing what they say theyre gonna do right lol

  • you cant just walk into a agency and talk to someone and see if they can be your agent. i have called to talk to my local agency and they wont see you for no reason. they also are very rude about it! so in this way of proscout they actually see you. if you dont want a agent later you can get one after you are famous, you will need a manager to get you a agent and then a agent to get you jobs and the manager gets paid 15% and agents 10% so proscout saves but you get wad u put in!

  • @proscoutactress its called tik tok by ke$ha

  • thanks

  • i love that song wadd is it called?

  • I like that you say its not a scam but is. I believe there is no way anyone can be guarenteed a callback. Proscout charges because they have to pay to bring the agents to the event. They fly them out, feed them, and give them a room. the economy has changed and i'm sure Proscout needs to make money, I'm sure they're not gonna bring 40 top A list agents for free. I think not everyone is going to have what it takes to get a callback and thats why people say its a scam.
