  • I love your hands! And you're so goood. :3

  • wow

  • Awesome:)

  • GREAT WORK! I think this is one of the hardest pieces, not just playing but decoding the notes, especially for beginners. It's good that you slow each step down & play it for everyone. Visual Learning helps. Thank you

  • Nice playing! Keep up the good work! Please have a look at my channel and let me know what you think to my songs x JA x DiscoKiss

  • A question from a beginner: my song book has this piece written in b flat, but yours is in d minor, why is that so? Thanks

  • @FoiledFailure often the key is adjusted to fit to a singer's voice range, but not in this case. this is originally a symphonic piece. for learning purposes, famous tunes are arranged for solo piano in various difficulty levels, and some key signatures are easier to play than others (those with many sharps or flats).

  • This is nice. Not sure why there are so many LA gang members looking at it though?

  • @RianoKan lol, I was wondering on a similar line :)

  • @bbdhrggl Yeah, you make it look easy. I tried a little of this today, but I still have many weeks to go to make it sound OK.

  • too bad i dont have a piano :(

  • verry nicee, but the actual song is done in the key of E not D :)

  • Her slowed down version is the speed I read at. BARELY haha.

  • you, teaching is the worst

  • @osabio1 that is good news

  • her hands added to the creepyness

  • @binot don't forget to add your mentality to the creepiness :)

  • she is not reallyu playing

  • @prettygabby same here

  • The church outside plays it everyday. Kinda getting annoying and CREEPY!

  • @Kafkareich tell them? :)

  • @Kafkareich It's a church and I respect that :) The piece is really good it's just that it's getting abused by the neighborhood church :)

  • @Kafkareich LOL!

  • Great playing and tutorial!

If there is one suggestion I might make,

Would you consider playing the tutorial with a bit more legato? It's hard to see which notes you've hit when your expert fingers are in motion for only a frame or two of the video. Minor nitpick. Great video!

Also, you have gorgeous piano hands.

  • @Luminareo perhaps I'll redo this one next year. Now it is so much easier for me not have to make the tempo to fit a 10-minute time limit.

  • Im having a hard time to play this piece. :(

  • Thank you so much :)

  • @bbdhrggl

oh never mind about that, but thnx anyway, luv ur tutorials :)

  • thnx, can u post the rest

  • @MsMyMy98 this is the entire 8notes score. if you want another version, send sheets. request link is in profile.

  • @bbdhrggl sorry, but i love it ,you have the sheets or you just use your abilitys, because i learn with more easily using the sheets, if u have can u give me please ?

  • @orlando3444 pls click video description link

  • @bbdhrggl oh, sorry, thanks ,your work is amazing

  • @bbdhrggl sorry for asking but i love it ,and i play piano better when i have the sheets, can u give to me please? if not thanks just for reading .

  • I envy those hands.

I enjoy classical pieces and was just listening to this while my 3-yr-old was watching 'Angelina Ballerina.' Now that I'm listening to this, I gave my left earphone to her and she started nodding happily.

    She said, 'Good job!' :)

  • @rodaG12 that brought a smile to my face. so cute! thanks :)

  • beautiful hands playing beautiful music :)

  • i love how skinny and elegant your fingers are, i do ballet and it reminds me of the girls that are extreamly skinny but very elegant and beautiful :)

  • Your hands are pretty scary!

  • @TheSixelar7 ooooh dear, be brave!

  • @TheSixelar7 built for playing

  • thank you~thank you so much~*3*

  • bad :(

  • Amazing¡¡

  • Do you have arachnodactyly? or SHA or Marfan?

  • @WickedGamesRV you do not know what good health looks like, sad...

  • @bbdhrggl Sorry It was only a question :S!

  • @WickedGamesRV that is a rude question, implying I look horrible, right? ;) don't worry, you are not the first, so I'm used to it by now. :)

  • aww :( I play the easy onee.. Not Fair I want this onee..!! ¬¬

  • Wow, you got a lot of cool songs Ive always wanted to learn. Thanks!

  • JUST GREAT! CONGRATS

  • I took Piano this year [6th grade] And this is my current recital piece. It's a bit altered since it's for kids or whatever. But I'm playing it on Monday, wish me luck. :3

  • @bonobobo1999 Good luck! Do your best and have fun, that's all that counts. :)

  • Buen video :3

  • My cousins and my grammy can play better than that LOL but the music was awesome!

  • @alienforcer6 every one should play better than I after practicing. I skipped that step. :)

  • @bbdhrggl lol....your an awesome piano player just saying :D

  • @alienforcer6 No one cares about your grandmother or cousins? She did an excellent job, so LOL to that.

  • @iRizzo14 No one cares about what u said HAAA!!!!

  • @alienforcer6 let's stop being childish?

  • @bbdhrggl Agreed.

  • There's something I don't get. If I am able to play this, that means I play on an advanced level, so I also should be able to read a sheet, what's the point in this kind of tutorial? With Mary Had A Little Lamb I would understand, of course.

  • @biziclop2 advanced level? my level 4 means 4 years of playing piano.

  • beautiful :')

    Thanks for the upload, :)

  • Where can I find the script?

  • @mikelinoforever video description

  • Thank you for doing this :3

  • this is epic fail!

  • @ranger123789 ok, you get your epic F. drop back one grade level.

  • its incredibly different to follow your hands on this. I give, I dont read music but I can usually follow a peice just by looking at one play it from this perspective. Your hands seem to hit either too many or no keys at all while I try and follow. perhaps its just your style, either way, after a few weeks ive nearly got the entire left hand. Then the fun comes ;)

  • Wauw its amazing how many songs you can play! I wish you could be my teacher!

  • AMAZING!!!!:O ilove how elegantly your hands glide over the piano keys:)

  • OMG WOW!

  • You got scary hands :)

  • @hagglefaen your comment tells us nothing about me, but it says a lot about you. :)

  • @bbdhrggl I think your hands are perfect for playing the piano ^_^, by the way, I envy you for being so damn good.

  • How should we learn, when we can't see which key we should press. Very bright

    !!

  • @pacino4242 first you learn to read music. second, you watch my fingers, not the keys UNDER them. can you touch your nose if i touch mine? of course. same principle.

  • What a pretty song . Thanks for the tutorial ;)

  • It hard to Learn it...

But Cool to listen to it

  • quite the engagement ring...

  • @unholyfarter yes, that was 39 yrs ago. :)

  • Omg I love this song <3! Thanks for showing how to play it ^^

  • our hands look alike... i'm sure you get the "gain weight" advice as much as I do.. but I choose not to! :D small hands and lean fingers are sexy for pianist! XD

  • notice the views go up alot in december :D

  • @yoorcainte thanks for defending me. but i delete comments w/foul words.

  • You teach well. Thumbs up! :) I can play it now. Thanks! :D

  • @foreverinlove079 thumbs up to you for learning this good piece :)

  • have u tried it with the petal? it sounds beautiful, and i think it would sound even more beautiful with it.

  • @chihuahuasarecute123 yes, i did use the pedal when appropriate. using pedal at the staccato parts it would mar the intended effect. i don't recall whether the score had pedal markings.

  • @bbdhrggl ok. cool. :)

  • hi! Good day.. im totally a big fan of your tutorials especially the Love theme from romeo and juliet.. still im looking at the keys while i play.. do you have any suggestions about that? im looking forward to your new songs and tutorials .. thanks a lot! XD

  • @MrBobcox i almost never look at the keys as I play, that is the only way to get good at sightreading. familiarize yourself with the keyboard via the black key groups. use very easy pieces to learn this technique. your fingers should always be "feeling" for the NEXT notes. hitting octaves should be automatic. fight the urge to look down. only look when you make a mistake. then redo the section w/o looking. good luck.

  • this is really good! :-)

  • oh, and THANKS for taking the time to make a tutorial like this. It must take a long time to break it down the way you do...being a newbie playing lead sheet style this is very nice for me to learn some extras that i can't get from a lead sheet.

  • wow, you're just 100 percent awesome ! being a former calculus teacher, i guess your're able to tell the difference between 99.9 % awesome & 100 % awesome...i rate you 100 percent awesome :) i have a friend that is a calculus genius, i'm just a little slow when it comes to calculus.

  • @kevp951 thanks for your compliments. fact is, the only activity that I approach 100% awesome at, is being a beachbum.

    glad the tutorial helps :)

  • @bbdhrggl maybe you should film some video of you being a beach bum & post to youtube.... :)

  • @kevp951 i have another channel for that xD

  • I play it in G Major...

  • Tutorial!

    please!!

    u.u

    Good!

  • You can play the piano very well, that's for sure, but I find it hard to follow wich keys you use because you play it staccato. It is to fast for my eyes to track =_=

but I am stubborn enough to keep trying hehe

  • @NyoronChibiChan hi there, try a different approach, focus on finger movement, not the keys underneath. use your ears too, and pause a lot. nice fun piece to learn. good luck.

  • when you use the higher note it souds like bells!!

  • your piano needs to tune

  • @nightmusics Do you have perfect pitch? This piano was recently tuned, and our piano technician is one of the world's best. He tunes for concert halls. :)

  • @bbdhrggl oh im sorry i just thought and i had a problem yesterday that I thought its like grand piano and i realized its just a honky tonk piano! sorry for that I'm hoping for your pardon!

  • @nightmusics honky tonk? anyway, no problem. :)

  • @bbdhrggl he just said what I said yesterday. wew. I said, "it's like a Honky Tonky sound"

  • @XaldBalghostriped That means the piece is written to produce that effect. Does it sound "honky tonky" on my other uploads around that date? :)

  • You play very good, thanks for the video. I would like to play like you :)

  • Ur hand are freaky.

  • @Browniesisgood your brain is freaky. my condolences.

  • What do you play from 02:24 til 02:30 with the left hand? I can't see it so well because the notes are different than the ones you showed at the beginning of the slow motion? Thanks

  • @pinkygirlpretty Make sure you match up the sections. Check the Left Hand part starting at (7:55).

  • VERy NICE :] <3

  • that's the letters on the bottom for?

  • @aznfreak303 [X] denotes Section X

  • Awesome :D

  • this very nice! thank you for the share.
