The Column of Marcus Aurelius is a Roman victory column, with a spiral relief, built in honour of Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius and modeled on Trajan's Column. The Doric column still stands on its original site in Rome, in Piazza Colonna before Palazzo Chigi.
Yes, I do believe this is the column of Trajan(Marcus Ulpius Traianus), not Marcus Aurelius. That statue on the top used to be an equestrian portrait of Trajan-added after Trajan died. Not coincidentally, the column stands behind the Forum of Trajan, which is also pretty cool. The reliefs tell the story of the Dacian wars, which were waged by Trajan. A lot of Roman emperors took the names of their predecessors, so I get them confused sometimes too.
errrrm that is Trajans column you dumbass
