2 Thess. 2 is talking about the end times and how people will run from the Truth, God's Word. and it is talking about the lawless one, who is the Devil. I think hes right, although , it seems implicit that your preaching to the world should be effective and not counter-productive. An extreme example is the WBC. I really believe they are conveying the Christian message, they are not heretics. But what message are people really getting from them?

I am becoming more and more convinced, however, that many natural disasters are due to God "reminding" us that Judgement is coming! About 20 years ago there were, on the average, 30/year. Yep, He's loving enough to try to get our attention about His coming judgment if we don't repent of our sinful rebellion and trust in His Son, who died in the place of those who will repent and believe. Don't test His patience. He's loving, but He's also holy and just. As a holy God, he won't let sinners into heaven with their sin. As a just God, He will justly carry out the sentence for our crimes: eternal death in the lake of fire! The solution: Repent & Believe!

Jesus contended with them but His Apostles preached the Gospel to the lost and did not contend with other faiths and groups. I believe your wrong and doing wrong in picketing the LDS Church. Why born agains dont have there own events?
Big splash held praise the wave. Christian youth night last week. The park was closed to the public and with over 3500 "Christians" in attendance. When the rock bands took the stage the crowd broke out in fighting and rioting. Over 100 were hospitalized and park destroyed and shut down for the year. It took police from 3 different counties to control the crowd finally around 1 am the violence stopped. is this what Christianity has reduced itself to?

SUPPOSE, SEEMS, I THINK, PROBABLY, these are words of speculation, unsure of what really will happen, the prophet doesnt know all, and he will speculate on what may happen and not know himself, this sounds nothing more than a THEORY he is sharing, not saying it will actually happen, learning of the church i was concerned with that rumor, but i read the book Mormon doctrince by Bruce Mckonie and it cleared things up :)...God Bless!!

I am not aware of Mormons preaching to muslims either, probabley because mormons rather pick off christians by using similar terms that have way different means... Mormons are cowards in my opinion bc they don't even preach what they really teacher but give people at the door sugar coated mormonism... So watch who you call cowards at least christians can explain what they believe...

How hard is it for people who read the same words of God to live peacefully. Only in Revelation does it say the this work should not be added to or taken away from. There will be more additions to the word of God. God's church has been restored through a Prophet... Joseph Smith is that prophet.

Does having bachelors and masters degree make me more able to preach the TRUTH? How about a Ph.D.? Oh, I guess you wouldn't know much about the TRUTH, would you? You belittle us preachers to try to deflect the conviction that comes from our simple, straightforward preaching. I suggest you pay attention to the conviction instead. Then you might not end up in the outer darkness that you so fear!

I'm not a Mormon. And I doubt your crazy. Your probably a responsible family man who'd be great to have as a neighbor. The anonimity of U-Tube unfortunately makes it easy for me to be rude sometimes. My criticism of street preachers is that we are free to believe or not believe whatever we want in regards to God in this country. Harassing people peacefully excercising that right, while legal, bothers me. It's comparable to what WBC does at soldiers funerals.

I think hes right, although , it seems implicit that your preaching to the world should be effective and not counter-productive. An extreme example is the WBC. I really believe they are conveying the Christian message, they are not heretics. But what message are people really getting from them?

Please don't equate us with the WBC! I'm not too familiar with their message, but to draw the conclusion that an Iraq war soldier's death is due to America's depravity might be stretching it. I am becoming more and more convinced, however, that many natural disasters are due to God "reminding" us that Judgement is coming! About 20 years ago there were, on the average, 30/year. Now there are 500! Something to think about.

Second that. I just wonder if anyone really converts because of these actions. If anything, I think they turn people away. The reason I never got into church was because all I seen were guys like this. Of course, when you say you want nothing to do with them because of the way they act, it's always "because of your iniquity" rather than "yeah, you have common sense to realize it's a self-righteous clown act"

Yep, He's loving enough to try to get our attention about His coming judgment if we don't repent of our sinful rebellion and trust in His Son, who died in the place of those who will repent and believe. Don't test His patience. He's loving, but He's also holy and just. As a holy God, he won't let sinners into heaven with their sin. As a just God, He will justly carry out the sentence for our crimes: eternal death in the lake of fire! The solution: Repent & Believe!

Here you are, part of a peaceful, successful religion that really is admirable in many ways. And some mentally ill individual w/a Messiah complex decides it's his job to harrass you. While the Mormons feed the poor, help the sick and elderly and generally serve as a basis for model family lives, this guy thinks he's doing something positive by hollering on a street corner.
