Oh sensual, beautiful~~~~ Whoever has that Tank is a genius in maintenance, very hard to simulate an environment for such delicate creatures to thrive!! Excellent video!
If you check out google images you should be able to find a match that looks like the one I have. I got mine from the LFS.
This type in particular feeds on the calcium in the tank from what I understand, so if you do end up with some of it, please be sure to keep an eye on the calcium levels very regularly! Hope that helps. :)
What a beautiful video! Seahorses are such magical animals, aren't they? What was the song you used in the background? I love it, and it really reflected the magesty of these tiny wonders!
Are you sure it didn't change colour because of what it was holding on to?? :/
When you first went saltwater, was a seahorse the first thing you got?
I'm setting up a purpose seahorse tank but i'm not sure weather i should just get chromis or something first to get myself used to looking after a saltwater tank, What did you do? (I kept tropical for 2 years and thought it was time for a change :D)
Hi! I'm quite sure it was flashing colors from the mating ritual.
I'd advise to stay away from chromis if you are going to keep seahorses. Since you have kept fish before you shouldn't worry about getting the hang of it. As long as you keep up on your maintenance and do your water tests, there is no reason to add fish to test anything out.
Also it is advised that any fish you add to the tank are added after the seahorses have established themselves.
I wasn't going to have any other fish at the same TIME as the seahorses, but you think they're not much different from other fish care wise, then i shall probably buy them, and skip out on chromis' :D
what a great tank set up, you should be very proud of yourself- so often people buy seahorses and have no idea how to keep them alive and happy. What abeautiful bit of video. Thanks for sharing this.
Wow, sea horses are like angels of the sea.

I think I might want to get some seahorses someday. I'd do my research and make sure I can take care of them first though.
