but when i try to setup the patches it say that this patch updated coh version 2501 but appear to have version UNKNOWN instaled already .to download the latest patches,run coh and log in Relic online (error code 10244) plz help

Okay I have a question, I have the CoH gold edition. Everytime I enter the game it says i need the online patch to play multiplayer, and these fucking patches are endless!!!!!!! First is 117mb, then 5mb, then 50mb, then 70 mb, now 90mb...WTF??? Why is he downloading all these " patches"...?? There's just no end to it??

Can someone help me? I have CoH: Anthology and it works perfect, but last night it asked me to put in the disc because I couldnt sign in to Relic online. I thought it was maintenence but it still didnt work today, so I think it could either be my D-Link router thats blocking it, or something to do with re-installing Steam. I'm pretty sure its the router, so do you guys know how I could get around it? Is there an option for the router to allow certain programs run or something? Thanx. :)

@pricture First question did you buy it on Steam, and secondly, have you tried unplugging your internet? And I'm not too sure about how to get onto the online game, but if you have problems with that, try and contact THQ or relic or something

@thomasbre1 No, I bought it off of Ebay from some guy in the UK (I live in Canada). I havent tried unplugging the internet yet, no, but how would that solve signing into Relic ONLINE? :P

I'm pretty sure its the router though, I heard that people usually have problems with their routers and the game, unfortunatly though I have found no solution and not that tech-savvy. :[

@pricture OH I see, well first patch it up ALL the way, and make a relic online account. That may help, if it doesn't tell me and I'll see what I can do

@thomasbre1 Alright, well I already have a Relic online account, and when it patches it usually patches on its own......... but if I were to go to their web site to get the patches, would it be all three CoH games? (Since I'm using Anthology) or just the latest one? Thanx.

@pricture Hmm well for me it's the gold edition, but if you just let the game patch by itself you should be able to get to the most recent patch and then play online

@thomasbre1 Ok, well thats the weird thing, I checked out the "autopatcher" and it works fine, but it just wont update. Prbably because the router is blocking it from going online in the first place though. Still unsure about that.............

(Btw, the anthology is the gold edition :P )

@ur3Dhero hmm so you you have the gold edition i assume? if you just want to get to single player you have to unplug your internet cable from your computer and it should work then, as long as you have the disk in the drive. if that doesnt work tell me

@ww2lego6336 I'm not sure how to fix that, I haven't been able to get multiplayer to work, but I know how to get onto single player. Try and contact the Relic support they can probably help

Im in desperate need, when im playing singleplayer or multiplayer the game just shuts down for no fucking reason, and then some message pops up and says that the program encounterd a problem and had to be shut down, someone plz help me!

@SWEm4rt1n hmm, have you tried emailing thq about this? i honestly have no idea why this would happen. it sounds like some sort of file error. try re-installing it if you havent. if you have then id contact thq support from their website. sorry i cant be of more help

@ubnubey you shouldnt try getting key codes because they are real key codes that are from real copies and if someone bought the game at the shop you might have gotten the key code for that copy. Early this year i bought a copy of Battlefield 2142 and it didnt work so the people at the shop said that it was probably someone online getting the keycode off a website that hacked games. So i never got to play the game because of people like yourself getting keycodes off the internet!!

hmm, try installing at a different location, instead of documents or something create a file lets say in pictures and name it coh, then when you go to install it make that the place it installs to
