you made up the gear levels...Its going to be the same as it was with the BC...lvl by lvl 72 all quest gear you will recieve will be better than almost any piece of pre-wotlk gear.
actually its true, because too many people got pissed because of what they did in the Burning Crusade. The level 71-73 blues won't be better than the epics.
