I am grateful for the exposure you provided for sevdah and the people living in America from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Carla. A beautiful video!
The musician with whom I stayed and opened the door to sevdah to me was Mr. Omer Pobric, founder of the Sevdah Institute. Photos are from a theatrical and musical piece written and directed by Denis Basic, PhD, entitled My Name is Sevdalinka / Zovem se Sevdalinka. They both have been incredibly kind and generous to me.

Mary, you have a beautiful soul. Thank you for helping to keep this music alive. It is, as you say, a bridge.
