Don Cherry! The GREATEST Coach in Boston Bruins History. He saved the franchise after Robert Gordon Orr left for Chicago with people(including Orr) thinking he was run out of town when in reality Jabobs offered hin a nice percentage of the team but Eagleson never told him. So with all that Ill will Cherry put together a Great team and if not for the Juggernaut that was Montreal(and the refs in 79. Phney Penalties on Redmond & Ratelle) they would have won a Cup or two. thank You Don Cherry.

Cherry owes Looch an apology. He took on one of the toughest guys in the league. Got hurt bad in the fight but hung in there. You don't put a guy down for that. And stopping when Orr had the sweater over his head is a point of honor.

@cetnickiponos There is no shame in backing off because you broke your nose. That's not the problem. But to hide behind the refs, and then try to fight again after, sorry, that doesn't fly. A good example to share was an Andrew Peters and Brian McGrattan fight under similar circumstances. But I can't find it and think its been removed from Youtube, or I'd share it to illustrate what I mean. I like Lucic overall buddy, but he's young and needs to listen to Grapes. He knows the code.

@cetnickiponos Two years ago Komisarek was fighting Lucic with one dead shoulder and all the Bruins fans and announcers were calling Komisarek a puss when he lost. Not only did Lucic lose handily to Orr, he cowered and quit. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. Lucic definitely got what he deserved.
