That was a very exciting game. The zerg played brilliantly. The terren didnt play terribly either. You can definitely see how imba terren is, but to be fair to the terren he played a solid game.

Koreans zergs seem to use their OLs very well. Scouting, creep, and even soaking up dmg in a tight battle the way people often use workers. Its a good way to put minerals to use in gas-heavy builds. 100

@Xkl1 No Cool made several crucial mistakes that cost him the game, though I agree he definitely should have won. In the 1st battle, when neural parasite was about to run out, he needed to manually target the tanks at themselves so they kill each other instead of break free and start killing his unburrowed infestors, which was his 2nd blunder, having that many roaches/investors and no burrow, OR any upgrades, his 3rd blunder. Those BLs should've been able to kill Maka's army with some upgrades.

The Concussive shells upgrade actually looks like that because the shell "concusses" a bone.

I know right? He did such a risky tech but actually pulled it off with a huge eco advantage. The upgrades did a big part but how he lost is beyond me. Being a Zerg user though I get a sore feeling sometimes playing Terran where you just feel you outmacro/micro'd/tech them but the seige tanks merk the ground.. I think blizzard is definitely going to nerf T and buff Z, P seems very solid right now imo. I personally think seige TECH should be tier 3...

Yeah, really, I don't care how many people say otherwise, Z is broken right now. Even the best Z players say that. I think T should be the gold standard, and they should buff the races up to T, because T functions the best at the moment (with the sole exception of the Reaper, only being half-viable).

I mean, at the top level, the only chance Z ever has of winning is constantly having more saturated bases than the opponent, and the race isn't designed specifically around that.

@chrisfur2 If you enjoy the commentary, you should pick up Starcraft and Starcraft Broodwars along with SC2 when it comes out. They're great games! The Terran are actually a human race, and the aliens are called Zerg. If you watched other replays, you would have seen a third alien race that is a bit more advanced called the Protoss.

I don't want to go into anymore detail for I'd be ruining the storyline for you.

Helluva game. Big ups to maka using droptrix and micro to counter mass infestor cheesiness. That spell is like group lockdown and psistorm all in one.

Good game by both players though. Thors seems to be a very good bolster to a mostly bio army (as opposed to previously being a mech staple/heavy hitter unit) in that they dice up mutas, do well with roaches at a distance, and you can also drop them with infantry to snipe expos VERY quickly with 250 cannons and such.

Such a Great game. Zerg player made some mistakes at the end. Had he killed the natrual scvs, with the lings. and the 3rd expo's scvs with the mutas. He could have just pulled back, and had enough time to get a bigger force than the Terran.
