I studied classical guitar for years and got an F# in Moab this week. A little trick I learned to get rid of "squeek" on the guitar was just to put a tiny dab of vaseline on my finger tips and rub it in. I tried it on the flute and sure enough it works like a charm.. Don't put so much on that you're all greasy, but just a bit to moisten the finger tips and you're good to go.. It's also non-destructive (actually good for) to the wood and finish as I've been doing this on wood guitars for years.

I fully agree, I own two and both are like there own person. My F# is nothing like my G
I had the G key first and got the F later, I have learned to play songs on both, But I have learned also, that each has song's of there own!
