    THANKS.

  • When I was a kid I looked forward to The Bowery Boys on Saturday afternoon TV.

    Love the Bowery Boys!

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • In NYC, im not sure if it was SAT or Sun ,afternoon as i remember. if it was raining outside , it was all day TV , Tarzan , Laural and Hardy , Abbott and Costello movies . Man , those were great times , we were just to young to know it .

  • @1952kid -- In the NYC area in the 60s and early 70s on Sunday and often Sat and Sun around noon, channel 5 had the East Side Kids and Bowery Boys nearly every weekend. Those and all the classic 30s-50s comedies, sci-fi, and horror films and shows that you can't see today, despite having 200 cable channels, makes me glad I grew up in the pre-cable era.

  • @jlovebirch Well, this may seem hard to believe, but I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and every sunday morning at eleven they showed the bowery boys. When I was about in the fourth grade I thought they were the greatest entertainment known to man.

  • wOW

    I never saw that one.

    Many Thanks

  • Ignore these posts by redop. They're just commericals for stuff he's selling.

  • Hollywood really raped the Bowery Boys image

  • God I remember waking up real early every Saturday morning to watch the Bowery Boys... I loved 'em. Bowery Boys early in the morning and Charlie Chan at night on the Late Late Show.

  • @galileo1957 That's funny, in the past year they were on every Saturday morning on TCM too!

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome.

  • Alan Napier plays the mad scientist and Skelton Knaggs

plays his creepy looking and sounding asistant.

  • The Bowery Boys meet Sam, the bartender from Gunsmoke! Miss Kitty would put a stop to this...

  • Glenn Strange played Frankenstien in at least one other movie

  • He was Frankie in "Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein," also in "House of Frankenstein" and I think in "House of Dracula" as well. He started off as a rodeo cowboy and started to play bit parts in early western movies. He also toured the country playing Frankie in live performances, sometimes with Bela Lugosi and others. He was great!

  • dude how can i watch the full movies.

    thanxx...

  • I luved everything about it. it brought back many good memories.I remember as a family we would all be together to view this show and enjoy and laugh. it is not what tv is about today..how sad .the more trrash sex violece etc the world loves it ...society is engrossed in tv if there were more positives to view tv could help put our society back to a more emotionally stable world .

  • I'm so happy I stumbled upon this .I think this is great that we can view these today. iI came from a big family a family was a big deal in the day....anyway this show was great WE as children didnt get pscho problems from this it was pur entertainment with a good laugh. Brings back good memories of what tv used to be like and how a FAMILY would look forward to viewing and truly enloying. TO BAD TV COULDNT LEARN A FEW GOOD THINGS FROM YESTERDAYS .

  • fuk the bowery :)) lol

  • "The Bowery Boys"never met

    "Frankenstein's Monster"in "Master Minds"

..They worked with "Atlas The Monster"

(played by one of the Frankenstein's

    Monster actors Glen Strange).

  • Ok...fair enough. This was a trailer. But still...beef it up a little bit my friend. You've got a whole freaking DVD to work with.

    Thanks a million!

    Your pal,

    Big Daddy

  • Dude...LENGTHEN your clips.

There's NO reason for them to be soo short other than stubborness.

    Big Daddy

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. I've done another clip on some old cigarette cards of 1930's actors and actresses: Boris Karloff, Gracie Fields, Florence Desmond, Boris Karloff from The Mummy, Charles Laughton, Laurence Olivier and many more.

  • Why the lenghty credits and skimpy clips?

  • I wish they'd release thias stuff on DVD sets.
