I agree Wilshere is class and it's a shame he got the injury because I enjoyed watching him but what other players are you talking about? Frimpong is a good prospect but I'm not overly convinced, Ox looks quality but he's not played enough yet (Wenger's subbing him today convinced me he's lost it btw) but I'm not sure on the others?

@OriginalYTName He got subbed because he was "fatigued". Which is believable since hes never played 90 minutes. Frimpong is a good prospect. Wilshere's injury isnt really career affecting, Nico Yennaris was class today too. Other players like Joel Campbell (scored the winner vs Spain for Costa Rica last year), Coquelin is still really young and is developing rapidly and dont forget Ryo Miyaichi. Hes as fast as walcott and has better ball control. hes only 19 too.

@OriginalYTName People have also been praising Kyle Ebecilio. Hes only 17 and was the joint top scorer at the U17 championships from midfield propelling Holland to success. And another player Ozyakup (in the reserves) was captain of that team. Benik Afobe too is a big prospect. Further down there are the two Barca boys we bought, Toral and Bellerin. And we all know another guy to move from Barca's youth academy to Arsenal's.

Why not sign Jan Vertonghen? He's 6'2", 24 years old and very strong. And he is best friends with Vermaelen. They have got a very good partnership with each other after both playing for Germinal Beerschot as kids and Ajax aswell as the Belgian national team. And like Vermaelen he can play centre back, left back and defensive midfield. And if we don't take him Man City might instead....
