Cows have their throats slit, while they are hung up on a conveyer belt chain. They are allowed to bleed to death before they arrive in the "processing" section of the slaughterhouse (systematically chopped up).

If you eat chicken, pork, or beef. You're guilty of helping out the slaughtering of those animals.
You see one video of a fish being eaten while it's still moving and you freak out.
But you bite into a cheeseburger or rib-eye steak and you feel perfectly okay doing it, just because you didn't see what happened to the cow before it was delivered in pieces to your grocery store or restaurant.

I agree but the thing is there is zero guarantee as to HOW the cow was killed. It could have died a fairly quick death or suffered a lot. In either case I am not responsible, I just don't know what happened. But I see it happening and eat the cow well... it's rathe the same as watching your live wish jiggle it's ass while u eat it's body parts. Either way, if it's fine with you to eat a live fish, go for it :-)

If you have the stomach to watch it, you can find a video of YouTube of slaughterhouse footage.
Cows have their throats slit, while they are hung up on a conveyer belt chain. They are allowed to bleed to death before they arrive in the "processing" section of the slaughterhouse (systematically chopped up).
So you can't pick and choose. You can't say eating a fish live is torture while you enjoy your hamburger and hotdogs.

First off this isn't a point of having the "stomach" to watch or eat the thing. I've done far worse in my life trust me. I find there to be a great difference between cutting an animal's juggular to make it die and to eating an animal alive. Think about it. This isn't about picking and choosing at all. Both hurt the animal, yet one is a necessary step in eating the animal while the other is just taking pleasure out of it. Cause face it, you eat it alive for YOUR pleasure, nothing more.

Cell death can take minutes or days depending on the type of tissue. The brain is probably partially alive at this point but incapable of processing all the stimuli. I hate to say it, but seafood is universally treated the worst of all kinds of food. I wouldn't want to be born a fish.
