@NateGomes cymbals are easy once you get the visuals down but personally they are the most fun to play in the stands if your not holding. So much fun! I played rack last year as a freshman and that was pretty awesome lots of groves and now im on bass 5 as a sophomore in high school and I love bass and will probably stick with it junior and senior year even though I know how to play snare really well and have before
@aqcm Yeah, and I definitely have some wrong drums in there for like... that entire quad feature, haha. I wish my 2010 music included those fills. Pretty sure I've got it figured out now though.
@Haseo532 I got Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10. It's like $90, very good, very easy program to use once you figure everything out (like how to make multiple movie tracks, and then make a split-screen vid like I did). I muted my drumpad tracks, and kept an audio from another YouTube video (cited in description). There are many tutorials on how to do everything I did in this vid, but yeah try out a trial of Sony Vegas to see if you like it. That's what I did, and I ended up buying it.
@Blacktide212 It's a Xymox ID snare pad - you can customize the look however you want on the online site. I actually got it free with the tenor pad I ordered only because it took like 2 months for it to get to me. The company was moving or something and everything was backordered so they felt bad, haha. It's a pretty sweet pad, but it's like $60 if you actually buy it.
@shadowsjs I played bass my freshman year of high school as well, then moved on to tenors since - I'm still playing tenors in college as a freshman right now. Personally I think bass is the hardest drumline part (and cymbals since I've never played those in marching, haha)
@Blacktide212 I might record 5 separate vids on my snare pad or something to do a bass drum vid for some of the things I've recorded. It's a tough feat, as I'm primarily a tenor/snare player, but maybe someday when I got the time on my hands for it I'll complete my "personal drumline" by throwing in bass haha
@TurboMcnasty753 Thanks, haha I'm pretty sure it's actually wrong how I was playing it (I was trying to figure that solo section out by ear based on other vids I watched - I only have the 2010 music, which is everything in this 2008 version, excluding the snare/quad/bass solos in the middle).
